Coral Kitchen (Kiosk 3,4&6 The Mayang Place F&B Complex) — Restaurant in Terengganu

Went here for a meeting. From picture looks like a quite elegant place. But quite disappointed by the real one. Just a so-so food court place. Not too bad though by the variety of stalls available here. Tried to order food written on the sign of one of the food court here but the seller said only one type of food available at that time, she was also not really friendly. Ordered nothing from her. Again feeling disappointed.

Wanted to order Yong Tau Fu, but the stall is closed. Waited from 4 plus pm till 6 plus pm, still doesn't open.

Next, I have read one of the review mentioning that the surau here is air-conditioned but when I enter the surau, not only it was not air-conditioned, it was really small (maybe can cater for around 10 persons at a time) for a quite big place. Not really convenient during crowded times. Quite hot and not a comfortable place to have some peace.

At last, I noticed Dim Sum stall. Ordered some. 5 stars! Superb & delicious, yummy to the tummy.

I went twice there, upon my friend's suggestion. The place looks good but not the food. 1st visit I ordered Kambing Bakar Ghuangzhou, the taste were good but the quantity & quality were not (sikit sgt & daging liat). Next order tomyam putih sebelah western food, 1st ambil tgk rupa sgt mengecewakn, macam air basuhan je, and taste so so also. I ate seafood only not the kuah. Daun ketumbar pun kena mintak, kedekutnya.

2nd visit I ordered western food, this was unbelievable experience. Beef burger, i don't know what burger they used but it looks like makanan nk bg haiwan mkn. Daging import hancur dikepal2 jd setongkol burger, oh My God. Chicken wings also, looks tasty on papan iklan like ayam korea but rasa & rupa failed. My kids unable to finished both. The only acceptable here was drinks. I will not go there anymore, & never suggest to everyone! Dahla mahal x sedap pulak tu. My husbnd till today dok mengungkit2 bwk dia...

The Mayang Place is quite a cool place to hang out with your friends and enjoy choosing what to eat from a cornucopia of stalls serving a plethora of different dishes. The light ambience of the establishment goes well with the minimalistic interior of the place; basically a cafe with more choices and livelier environment. Buskers do provide some live entertainment for the customers to enjoy. However, it's quite hot since there wasn't adequate air conditioning to provide some cool breeze, but overall it's...
