My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at the Four Seasons Kuda Huraa for our Honeymoon from the 30 of November through the 6 of December.
Upon arriving at Kuda Huraa, we were pleasantly greeted by 4 staff members with music, coconut water, a beautiful flower and smiles. Sitora brought us to reception to sit down and go over our itinerary and plans for our stay. Sitora showed us around the island in a club car (buggy) and brought us to our beautiful sunrise villa (over water bungalow). The room blew us away!
The food… it compares to nothing we’ve ever had. It is all so fresh, flavorful, and even presented beautifully. The service… where to begin! Everyone on the island goes above and beyond with a smile to greet you, welcome you, see what you need, and it is clear they are committed to really knowing their guests. We were constantly greeted by our first names or by our now married couple name.. Mr. and Mrs. McGurrin. The resort is so intimate and you really never feel like just another guest. You feel like each staff cares about you. They pay attention to your itinerary and follow up and ask how your experiences were. They remember DETAILS! The details, my goodness! Amazing! (And this is coming from 2 very detailed people!)
Additionally, the Four Seasons App allows you to chat with the reception desk 24-7. I mean really, it’s amazing. We could text them our lunch room service order, we could ask for a buggy to pick us up at any time and location, we could alter our times of our activities, anything we needed. It was so easy and efficient. A quick text/ chat and the task was done!
We wanted to experience a boat ride one day. Zahir, the manager of the recreation services, went OUT OF HIS way! He arranged for us to be taken out on the resort’s new Princess yacht for 4 hours. We had the best crew. Huge thank you to Uumar, Shakeev, Imad and Amanti. They were so attentive and lovely. Amanti took us to a special location for snorkeling with the nurse sharks. OH MY GOSH! Once in a lifetime experience. You must do it! We saw pilot whales which was a huge treat! We had champagne and a light lunch/snack too. Then, Amanti took us to a special spot to fish!! It was our first time fishing and we caught 6 grouper! Then, the team made sure we could eat what we caught that night for dinner. The chef specially prepared them for us! I mean talk about an experience!
We felt so special and taken care of the entire trip. The level of professionalism and service is like no other. The staff are truly committed to representing the resort and Four Seasons brand.
Everything is SO clean and tidy and even smells delicious. Water is always available and so are small cool towels.
Try the spa and jet X blading- both wonderful and fun!
We enjoyed a private Romantic dinner which was part of our package. It was phenomenal. Ali was a wonderful host to us. The food was OUTSTANDING. The private location on the dock, with music and lights, over looking the water, was just so serene and a highlight of our honeymoon.
We also enjoyed a 2 hour private Italian cooking class. The chef at Reef Club was so knowledgeable and hands on. We had a great time and the food was of course out of this world!
Each and every staff we met went out of their way to make us feel welcomed, address us by name and greet us with a smile. They made us feel like we really mattered and again, attention to detail is like no other. They even walked us to the dock and boat when we left and held up a banner that said “Please don’t leave us”.
We want to acknowledge everyone’s name who made our experience wonderful. We are grateful for you and look forward to seeing you soon! It’s not goodbye… see you next time!! We miss you already!

We had the pleasure of staying at the Four Seasons Kuda Huraa from Oct 28th to November 1. As the title of my review reads, we were absolutely stunned by the great service, attention to detail and just overall lovely service. Giovani and his team were just brilliant from the start to the end.
Now to get down to some details:
Firstly I am sure everyone is concerned about the whole Covid situation., and rightly so. But I can assure you the staff at this property takes more than enough care regarding this. The staff always wears masks while the guests are not required to in open areas (which is basically the 95% of the property). They take great precaution, the staff never leaves the island to ensure nobody can contract the virus, they pay attention to the smallest of details such as giving you a sanitized pen to sign your credit card slip or hotel bill.
Second: Activities at the hotel – The hotel offers a great variety of activities everyday to keep you engaged incase you like to do other things than enjoy the beach. We went for the Shark snorkeling tour, the dolphin safari, and the Manta ray tour. We were honestly stunned by the whole experience. The marine biologists in the resort make a delightful presentation before they take you out side for the activity. They are very well informed and delightful to talk to. Special credit to Filiipe and Andrea (they are the marine biologists) they were an absolute delight to speak to and really took extra care to make sure we saw every fish and have an unforgettable experience. Also Nooman and Zia from the recreations team who came along with us were just absolutely great really knowledgeable. Their company and their hospitality really left a mark on us. Also just a note: the hotel itself has a nice reef on the property itself and we saw a stingray, shark, and tons of fish.
Third: Food and Beverage— Our experience with food and beverage across really top end resorts across the world has never been great until this time around. The food was just amazing; they had a good À la Carte breakfast, and a scrumptious dinner. We really loved the Asian and the Indian food. Special mention and thanks to Joseph and Chef Long for really going the extra mile to make sure we were enjoying the food. Their extra effort and service really touched us.
Lastly I would really like to convey my appreciation for Hansini , Aditya and Ahmed at the front desk. They were the people who really set the impression from the start to the end. They were all fabulous in their conduct and super helpful and just really the “cherry on top” to make our trip super enjoyable.
The staff at this property really set the bar very high in terms of service. This is a stunning property with the most amazing staff, which provides flawless service to transport you to “relaxation heaven”. Would highly recommend everyone to experience the Service at Four Seasons Kuda Huraa. It is something else. We really hope to visit...
Read moreWe love this place. The Maldives speak for themselves in terms of natural beauty and just being here is an incredibly relaxing experience. The Four Seasons at Kuda Huraa takes it to another level of enjoyment. There are so many good things here I don't know where to start. Service : everybody and I mean everybody is helpful, kind and smiling 24/7. If you make eye contact with any member of staff anywhere they will immediately rush to help you even if it is not their direct responsibility. We are fortunate to stay in many high-end resorts, but none of them have this level of attention. It is also genuine. I am not sure whether the intersection of Maldivian culture and Four Seasons excellence is the reason but either way this is my favourite place on earth to relax. As if that wasn't enough.....the food. Without a doubt the Indian restaurant is the best Indian food I have ever had anywhere. It is incredibly delicious. We like to do the cooking lesson there and we had Habib teach us one morning. He was so passionate and such a great teacher that we throughly enjoyed ourselves and had a fantastic meal at the end. Wonderful. The other restaurants also have an incredible selection to please any palette and even the fussiest of customers. Water Sports : We love water sports, but again there is that extra level of attention to detail here that I do not find elsewhere. The staff are clearly dedicated to making each experience as easy and as enjoyable as possible for the guests. Only complete dedication to the customer experience can bring this level of service, and of course always with a smile. The Spa : beautiful open rooms to the sea with the calming sound of waves and expert therapists with a variety of treatments to serve any taste. Finally the new GM Didier who's passion for both the resort, the Four Seasons group and the customer experience shines through took the time to talk with us (and many other guests) every day. Sharing his stories in an open and friendly manner. Wine tasting : Joseph took the time to arrange a wine tasting in the cellar where all the wines are stored. My wife is passionate about wine and loved this experience. This was not an official experience but was organised ad hoc when Jospeh was talking to us one evening at dinner. So thoughtful and so enjoyable. Yet another example of thoughtfulness and kindness. There are so many staff to thank here - Abdullah, Dien, Habib, Joseph to name but a few. They all share the dedication and passion of the whole team. We will be back again and again and again. I cannot recommend a place more...
