Sunset Seaview Apartments — Hotel in Żebbuġ

I did not get the one-bedroom double-bedded apartment that I had booked, but a studio with twin beds and a miniscule bathroom which even I, a petite person, struggled with movement in. Furthermore, the window looked onto the guts of the building and beyond was the shower area of the apartment across from it.||I suffered with bites after my very first night from the mattress that I slept on. A friend who visited me had his holiday totally ruined when he lay on the other bed during his visit to see me as a direct result of the mattress on the other bed also being bug infested.||There was no microwave oven which as far as I am concerned is a staple and basic requirement in this day and age and one that most people would take for granted in what was advertised as a self-catering apartment.||The lift was not in operation which meant that having to tackle the stairs up to the 4th level several times a day which I found very tiresome in a hot climate. ||The television did not have any English speaking channels. Even if I wanted to watch it the room would have had to be reconfigured as it was bolted to the wall, immovable, and could not be angled to meet the only reclining furniture in the room - the bed-bug riddled beds, without suffering neck pain as a consequence.||There was constant noise practically every day from the ongoing checking-in and out of short-stay guests on that floor which also meant that I had to tolerate the disturbance of their being cleaned on a more...

Not the first time I am coming in this place to enjoy some peace and quiet. Raphael is a fabulous man, always here to help if he can. I got a bad flu and could not move, he kindly offer to go to the pharmacist get me medicine and/or call a doctor to help me out. What a lovely attention! Raphael is always here to give good advice regarding Gozo. I can only recommend you to go, my mum and I had a fabulous time in the penthouse. wonderful view, nice kitchen to cook and big terrace to get some sun tan. Me and my girlfriend said here for a night in a very windy November the owner was very helpful. |The apartment itself we stayed in was on the top floor of the block amazing sea views has a large roof terrace small kitchen and dining room with a TV large bedroom with two single beds which we pushed together (not a problem). ||The only problem I had was that with how windy it was and the bedroom window has the mesh window for the summer still on when the wind was strong it would bang and kept us awake for a bit but I then solved this by placing a pillow case between the mesh and the window then we slept...
