Diamante Cabo San Lucas — Hotel in Baja California Sur

i have personally purchased 5 different time shares, all of the other 4 time shares go above and beyond to make our experience at their property exceptional. time shares in general are never as good as they “sell” you on but i dont normally care, it is usually good enough to never be dissatisfied. but diamante in cabo san lucas is probably the worst scam in timeshares! A little history might enlighten any future buyers. I am an avid golfer, I have a dream of playing the worlds top 100 courses before I die. so i dont take any of my golf experiences lightly! For this particular experience i invited two of my closest friends to experience diamante dunes course! they absolutely loved it! we sat through a sales meeting and it was great because they were on an emotional high after playing easily the best course in mexico! we bought a timeshare that the sales person promised included golf on the dunes course(a top 100 course in the world, no dispute there, it is phenomenal!!!!), “free 10 rounds in the off season, but just pay $160 in peak season to play the dunes. ok fair! i am reasonable, i understand you have private members here that bought 1.5 million properties and paid an initiation fee of 100k and 15k per year for the right to play their course early and whenever they want. However, when i am sold on the ability to play the the dunes course whenever i want at the discounted rate of 50% ($160 instead of $320) whenever i come to use my timeshare, the should get that privilege. Would any reasonable person think otherwise? Here is the most important point!!! Anyone considering purchasing at diamante cabo, beware!!!! be incredibly diligent on making sure what the salesmen promise and what the contract and property deliver!!!!! the property has designated strict rules that have extremely diminished the value of buying here and the sales people are exaggerating to compensate for the extreme deficiencies of the value!!! dont buy if you are golfer!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but please buy if you think a quasi attempt at a resort for families appeals to you! after all i would really like to sell my timeshare to a fool who thinks this is even remotely worth it as a family resort. dont worry you will be equally disappointed as a jon golfer, nobody here knows what the hell is going on! your member discount doesn’t even matter because they up charge so much, and have such a terrible exchange rate, that my good friend just figured out that he paid $185 for an $85 (at home) tiger woods golf shirt. that was after a 20% members discount!! terrible, terrible service terrible lies to get you into the timeshare and terrible lies about any service or promise!!!. really, really disappointed. exceptional course, and the course staff are phenomenal. unfortunately, the marketing company, and presumably the owners who hired the marketing/sales company are as dishonest as they are inept at taking care of their clients! happy to provide proof and validation of any claims that i make here! just request and it is all yours! final warning stay...

Well let me start with pulling into the Lagoon Tower valet to check in we were greeted by a very enthusiastic group of gentlemen to get our luggage, golf clubs and groceries out of our vehicle and onto a cart to be delivered to our room, Rafael was seemingly always there to get our car if we were going into town or call a shuttle to move us around the property and making sure that everything was going well. Our room was very clean (and my wife is a bit of a freak about cleanliness). Complimentary chips and pico de gallo salsa were waiting for us. We had a beautiful view of El Cardonal Golf course and the Pacific Ocean both two of my favorite places to visit. Me and my wife enjoyed a fantastic round of golf at El Cardonal, we were happy to have the outstanding service of Mauricio our caddy for the day, he helped us with every shot choice and the reading of the greens and providing us with much other useful information about the area. The course, putting green and driving range were all impeccably maintained. The hospitality stations at the driving range and after holes 4 and 14 offered tacos, sausage link sandwiches lots of snacks and unlimited beverages which are all included in your round. The 10 acre lagoon is so nice and offers paddle boarding which we both enjoy and also kayaks and peddle boats for all of the guests to use wherever you like. There’s also a delicious restaurant and bar at the lagoon and attendants serving you as you relax on the lagoon beach. Alejandro at the lagoon area was especially attentive. Me and my wife enjoyed dining at the Dune’s Club Sports bar where the food is outstanding and the service even better our servers on all three occasions Cesar and Yohari did everything they could to make our dining experience perfect in every way. They have the most incredible sushi there, but you need to ask for that menu. (Insider Tip) you won’t be disappointed. We also had a splurge night at Izzy’s also at the Dune’s Club well all I can say it it was one of the finest dining experiences I’ve ever had in my 59 years from the Tuna tartare to start to our incredible dessert we were completely blown away. My wife is still talking about the lobster Mac and cheese. Once again the service was as good if not better than the meal and that’s really saying something I would like to shout out Jesus and Jaasel for their amazing attention to every detail. I can truly say we were treated like royalty from the moment we came through the gate till the moment we left. This place is amazing and I can’t wait to go back, looking forward to it. If you ❤️ Golf as I do this is a golfers paradise from the 2 world class golf courses The Dunes, and El Cardonal to the super fun 15 hole putting course not to mention the Par 3 Oasis course this is what dreams are made of. Diamanté you have an outstanding staff and property.

Beautiful Resort with Amazing Service and Amenities On our month long trip to Mexico we stayed at two other 5* hotels/residence clubs. Diamante was our 3rd stop for two weeks. The resort absolutely exceeded our expectations from the Concierge and Management staff to the fantastic restaurants, uber fast room service (appreciated to feed hungry kids!). We stayed in the Lagoon Tower - a huge 4 bedroom with large kitchen and Ice Machine. And Bungalow 6. The Bungalows are on the Lagoon, very private and spectacular. From the decor, color scheme, comfortability and amenities - it was the total package. Your own personal fire pit, BBQ, Heated Spa and dock. We swam off the dock every day, kayaked, swam to the restaurant. What a fantastic idea. The paddle boards and peddle boats were no charge. Wow! The beds were super comfy and the wifi and electronics new and high end. Netflix on the TVs was something we did not have at the other 2 resorts and we really were able to relax and watch movies as a family. It was an easy golf cart ride or walk to the main hotel area, spa and Swim Up Bar! We had no construction noise during our stay. Our Bungalow was also serviced everyday including fresh pool towels.

The kids also enjoyed the Kids Camp very much - super fun. The pool restaurant was great, wine very good and reasonably priced. Food delicious. We had an amazing dining experience at Izzy’s -their fine dining venue - where they took great care of us. We were celebrating and my 9yr old son was allowed to have a filet mignon which was prepared perfectly. Izzy’s was priced very well, the food was awesome and it was very family friendly but elegant at the same time. And what an amazing wine list! Go with the Mexican wines - they have an outstanding selection.

We are not Owners at Diamante and do not own any fractional real estate so we were not sure what to expect. We were treated so well by the Management. Even accommodating a very special request for our anniversary and recognizing our special occasion multiple times. The team was gracious, professional and will go out of their way to spoil you.
