I've stayed at this hotel twice. I cannot get over how great the details of the rooms are. It's not by any means fancy but it's extremely clean and well thought out for travelers with shelves, hooks, benches, and even steps/shelves in the shower. The water pressure is great with lots of hot water. It is sparse and minimal but it's been the best stay in a long, long time for me personally. No weird smells, no stains or ratty linens or towels. Free coffee and hot water 24/7 in the lobby is such a perk when you really need it. There are snacks with good sandwiches for sale and the breakfasts are hot and tasty. The ONLY thing I'm not crazy about is the location because it's not really near anything you can walk to. Having a car/uber is essential. It's quite though, that's nice. The two elevators work well and the staff is all friendly and enthusiastic to help out. There are different areas to sit outside even. I really regret staying at the other places I've booked thinking that the location was going to matter more but really it's the comfort of staying somewhere...
Read moreI checked in upon arrival (around 3:30), there was a huge group of people that were also checking in and by the time it was my turn I was asked to wait an hour to get my key (I had previously made reservations and had already paid in advance for the room). I came back to the hotel an hour later and I was told that the room was not ready. Which I asked how long more, and they said they didn’t even know if they were going to have a room. I was there with two small children and they had also changed my reservation from 2 beds to 1 bed without asking me. The girl at the reception said that all reservations are subject to availability upon checking in so keep that in mind. After all the bad moment, they proceeded to get me a room within minutes. So there were rooms available but I’m not sure what their process is when it comes to assigning rooms.
Some of the staff were amazing (Rene and another gentleman working during breakfast)…made...
Read moreThis IHG hotel is my new favorite, very convenient location, near airport and Alameda Otay Town Center and Vía Rápida, yet because of its location I don't have to deal with crazy traffic and it is very easy and secure to park my car in the hotel parking lot.. cappuccino and a coffee machine are at the lobby area, break is included with a few pre "wrapped" hot items, but it is a "continental breakfast"
The room is on the small side but very quiet, very good AC😁 and a very clean bathroom with good plumbing!
Sign up for an IGH account, you generally get a very competitive rate plus early check-in and late checkout privilege if the hotel can accommodate!
