Malena Restaurante — Restaurant in Baja California

We ordered 2 Granna Padano pastas and a few drinks. Our drinks kept coming out very quick. After our 3rd drink the waiter asked if we wanted dessert to which we answered we were waiting for our pastas to which i asked him if it could just be one (my bf was pissed and didn’t want to eat anymore). He quickly went to the computer to i assume put in the order and about 15min later they came with the cheese and everything. He started making both pastas and when i told the waiter it was only one he said it was already put in the order (not true bc we had to remind him of our order and clearly saw when he went to put it in the computer). They said they would take it off our bill (they didn’t). We just paid everything with no tip, we wanted to get the hell out of there. The restaurant was very good. The employee's attention was amazing. When you arrive, an employee will be waiting at the front door. They also check on you every 15 minutes approximately. I would recommend making a reservation due to the waiting time, so the table is ready when you get there. The tables and restrooms seems clean. The food delivery time was very short, approximately 15 minutes. The drinks took about 10 minutes. The food presentation was beautiful, and my salad was delicious. My food was not pricey at all, but the drink, in my opinion, was overpriced. As for the quantity, I felt that the salad was more than enough, I couldn't finish it. However, if you normally order something bigger for dinner, I highly recommend you to order a pasta or a pizza. I highly recommend...

Service — Excellent,…. Even walking in the host opened our door to then attending to my coat when she moved us from the bar to our table. Even with a full house our waiter was easily to be found during dining.

Food — was very good and the dessert was excellent

Drinks — Mixologist crafted some excellent drinks

Atmosphere — this is the best part — The DJ was honestly playing some of the best tracks English and Spanish. The lighting effects in the room gives this resteraunt a PULSE something that I have seen lacking at almost every restaurant in the area. I noticed they paid good attention to the sound system. Even though the music is loud it was still very easy to hear my girlfriend talking at the table.
