Thank God we only booked for 1 night through Expedia we were here for the weekend for my Grandmothers funeral with my family we booked a total of 4 rooms but after the issues we checked out the next morning and went to another hotel. ||Pros: Staff was nice, hotel was safe, hotel bar and restaurant was nice as there is an option of breakfast buffet food was good. ||Negative: It was 110 degrees and the AC didn’t work, we were told all rooms were booked no other available rooms. We were all extremely tired after and didn’t sleep with the heat. When I called maintenance in the morning he came and looked it First he said it wasn’t installed right then he said it needed more Freon and taking off the cover he discovered it was frozen over we were told he would come back shortly no later than an hour and he never returned. We also found a bloodstain on the sheet by the foot of the bed As I was checking out I brought this to the front desk representative’s attention and all she said she would let management know we weren’t offered a discount or any type of compensation. |Another issue : when showering the shower drained extremely slow and water pooled up quickly as you shower which ended up going all over the floor. The other rooms our family stayed in mention they had very low water pressure from the shower head and some slow draining. |Lastly if your concerned of bugs the doors all have gaps around the top and bottom of the door frames so they can easily get in we had a put a towel down. |I Wouldn’t recommend staying only if you had a choice. Other family members stayed at Fiesta Inn and didn’t have any issues. We were extremely tired as it was and still were able to feel comfortable...
Read moreI've made my reservation... after arriving the front desk person did not make any Wye contact or any contact at all.||I had to tell him I was there (No line or other people) he was texting on the phone.||He asked for my credit card before my identification card, than he proceeded to say you are not on my list you have no reservation.||I showed proof than he said oh! Let me double check.||If this was it I've be fine... but nope... I came back at night and there was some really bad people screaming and slamming doors saying profanity and faul language. They offended my wife while I was trying to reset our room keys because when we arrive at 2.am the keys where not working... I called the security guard and asked him to call Police or do something about it... He hides in a corner and told me to tell the front desk... which I did and they said "go talk to the security guard... really? Why didn't they do that... long story short... next time I will stay.at a suite at my favorite hotel araiza inn which was my plan at first. I ended going that night for drinks and family get together there at the lobby enjoying some wonderful music from a nice couple that song like the angels. Any way I ended spending money at the araiza business... in the past I used to work there playing piano and I have most respect for the Araizas. However this occasion was kind of scary and I wouldn't go to calafia again... not even if it was free.||I hope these comments get to upper level management at araiza Arabia and you guys get it together. ||If you need more I go please contact...
Read moreI booked this hotel specifically because it said pet friendly. I had booked a month in advance and while booking I asked for breed/ weight restrictions. The lady said no restrictions except for weight. I told her my PITBULL weighed 65 lbs and corgi weighs 20 lbs. She said that's fine they may charge me extra for the weight. I go to check in and say no they can't let my pitty in hes "too big". I fought them on it... because they asked for his breed and weight when booking. Had me wait an hour while "waiting for approval from management. They decided on charging extra on top of what I was paying to "accommodate" and my pitty can only go to the grass courtyard to potty and nowhere else. My corgi has no restrictions and is able to go anywhere. During our stay I saw a very large poodle and German Shepard that were clearly bigger than my dogs. The guests had them off leash and they were barking at people and my dogs. They would also barking through the night. The room was way smaller than advertised. There were a few dents and bumps on the mini fridge so I called room service to make them aware. We stayed 4 nights in total. Only plus was housekeeping was great very...
