Emmalu Hotel Boutique — Hotel in Baja California

This boutique hotel in Valle de Guadalupe is fabulous! We had a wonderful stay at the Emmalu! It went beyond our expectations. We got the two bedroom suite, which is more like its own house! With its our private parking spot. Separate from the other rooms. A walk away from the beautiful vineyard! The whole suite was very comfortable with full on kitchen and all necessary kitchen utensils. Rooms were clean, bathroom robes and slippers in the closet! Both restrooms were stocked with shampoo, conditioner, soap, lotion and even bug spray! The pool and jacuzzis are amazing! Right in the middle of the Vineyard! We spent in evening in the jacuzzi, enjoying a cup of wine, gazing at the multitude of stars up above! until 10 o'clock at night! That's the time they close the pool area. The hotel's location was ideal for visiting nearby wineries. The road getting there is like everything else in Valle, lots of dirt and bumpy about a 10 min drive away from main road. A made to order breakfast is included with coffee, tea or orange juice. The world famous restaurant '' La Cocina de Doña Esthela'' is about a 5 minutes away. Over all stay was GREAT! Goodness we had the most magical stay at Emmalu. The vibes and decor were on point, super serene Valle vineyard spa experience. Pool and spa were fantastic and the fire pit outside the room was a wonderful touch.

We were seriously so impressed with the staff as well. Juan and Vincente made us feel so welcome—check in was a breeze and we felt super at home. Snacks, blankets, coffee, water, wine and wine opener as well as soft blankets and robes in the room made us feel super cozy and comfortable. And each room is nice and large and decorated differently but with excellent taste and a feeling of privacy. Bed was super comfy!

And the complimentary breakfast was outstanding! Soufflé pancakes, chilaquiles rojos y verdes with eggs and fresh coffee and OJ were all delicious and blew us away.

Beautiful place, close to everything. We had some hiccups w the heater in the room so they switched us to another room. The second rooms fire pit didn’t work, at this point we did not want to bug. Customer service was amazing, the included breakfast was delicious. FYI parking is outside the gated hotel but they have security so felt pretty comfortable. Overall very nice...
