Hotel María Bonita Chihuahua — Hotel in Chihuahua

The rooms were nice but our TVs Roku apps would not work on the TV. Very cleanly and beautiful decor but the shower didn’t have a closing door, so it was designed to always be half open and to be honest, it was really cold. There also was no towel for the feet so you don’t slip and fall on the tile. We were told they had continental breakfast but we’re not told the time they stop serving breakfast. The waiter was kind but he did tell us they stop serving at 10am… and when we arrived to the breakfast it was 10:15am. However, we were not the only ones who were not informed because two other families came down around 10:30am. So the hotel either needs to keep it open longer for the guests or they need to clearly tell the guests when they check in what time the continental breakfast is open until. Personally I feel like 10 am is too early to stop serving breakfast, but maybe that’s just me. The regular pool was wonderful but the hot tub was the same temperature as the pool and that was a bit odd as usually it is hot. En lugar es muy bonito, con acabados y decoración muy mexicanos y bellos rincones para la foto del recuerdo. Las habitaciones muy espaciosas y con baño amplio también, nuestra habitación cálida para ser invierno y muy cómoda, aunque el colchón de las camas es algo blando. Fue algo complicado tener que conectar la pantalla a mi celular a través de la red del hotel para lograr poder ver los canales y nadie nos explicó sobre ello. La alberca es pequeña, pero con jacuzzi y chapoteadero, deliciosamente climatizada y techada, sin embargo no estaba lo suficientemente clara el agua, no se veía el fondo y se sentía algo sucia, con una ligera capa espesa sobre la superficie, y se llena muy rápido. Las toallas de alberca son pequeñas y delgadas, me parecen insuficientes para el uso que se les da, ya viejas y desgastadas también. En la habitación tuvimos que pedir dos toallas extras porque no consideraron que seríamos 4 huéspedes, a pesar de la reservación previa. Lamentablemente todo lo bueno anterior se vio opacado por un pésimo servicio al cliente, empleados quejándose delante de los huéspedes por la falta de personal debido a la fecha navideña, por que no iban a poder tener comida disponible del restaurante que cerró para la cena, la recepcionista maquillándose en su área de trabajo, mal servicio en el restaurante al momento del desayuno, moscas sobre el pan descubierto al centro del bufete, comida regular, bebidas no incluidas y no especificaron que serían aparte (a excepción del café), faltaban ingredientes para proveer los alimentos, algo tan simple como un mojito, malteadas y agua de sabor que no fuera la del día, que fue de jamaica sumamente endulzada y artificial; falta de cortesía por parte de la mesera y el jefe de meseros del restaurante, nos querían cobrar más de lo debido, cuando hubo en nuestra mesa quienes no consumieron nada del bufete, y la forma de manejarlo no fue muy apropiada, les falta mucha calidez y calidad en el servicio en todos...

Staying at Maria Bonita during the holiday weekend was a pleasant experience. Hotel was nice and its personnel warm and welcoming. We had a little trouble trying to set up the TV, but service desk supported the issue in a quick manner. Breakfast was good but the restaurant was a little crowded with just 1 waiter attending the tables. The indoors Swimming pool it very good mostly for kids and it’s parents.
