Review: One Chihuahua – Fashion Mall & One Chihuahua – Norte During my trip to Chihuahua, I stayed at two different One hotel locations. Night 1 – One Chihuahua Fashion Mall This hotel shares a parking lot with the Fashion Mall, making the location extremely convenient — shops and restaurants are all within walking distance. The room was small but comfortable, with two twin beds, a TV, desk, and A/C. There was no fridge, and the shower was tiny, but the excellent water pressure and consistent hot water were a pleasant surprise. The room was clean, and the complimentary breakfast was outstanding — far better than a dinner I had at Sanborns. The buffet included eggs with cactus, red and green chilaquiles, beans, yogurt, fresh fruit, and more. Nights 2 & 3 – One Chihuahua Norte This location was harder to find — the entrance is narrow and easy to miss. If you pass it, you’ll need to loop around the block. It’s located next to a large building that can be mistaken for the hotel. A notable aspect of this hotel is that it's currently hosting National Guard personnel. Upon arrival, I was briefly concerned, seeing several patrol cars parked outside, but the agents kept to themselves and there were no issues. Customer service was excellent, though room cleanliness could be improved. The room itself was newer, with a slightly larger bathroom than the Fashion Mall location. I didn’t try the breakfast here, so I can’t comment on that. One downside was the thermostat — no matter how I adjusted it, the room stayed uncomfortably cold. Additionally, the smoke alarm emitted a blinking green light all night, which was disruptive to sleep. Overall: Great value and service at both locations. Despite minor issues, I would stay at either hotel again when...
