We stayed 10 weeks and did not enjoy the experience. The staff is particularly unpleasant. ||Our linens were thread bare and stained. The Wifi could only be accessed from outside our suite and was intermittent. |The weekends were at times unbearably noisy as residents from Guadalajara would stay the weekends and the kids would generally shriek for hours on end in the pool which was situated in the centre of the suites. The noise echoed off the cement walls of the hotel. Even retreating into our room and shutting our door did not block out the noise. We couldn’t even watch a movie on our fire stick to block out the sounds because the WIFI signal was so weak. ||It’s great to see families of 3 generations having fun together, but the noise level was intolerable. Add to that the amplified music pool-side and we grew to dread the 3 days of inevitable weekend noise. ||There was an unpleasant sewer smell emanating from the shower drain much of the time. We often had to ask for extra toilet paper and the towels were threadbare. ||All in all, a less than satisfactory experience. We did not feel that our well being as long term paying guests was at all important , despite the mission statement on the lobby counter. We felt merely tolerated. ||The roof top deck is lovely and we appreciated the front desk calling us taxies, making reservations and booking appointments for us. ||We cannot...
Read moreWe booked a month at the Rincon Resort last February (2018), and put a deposit down at that time for a Feb 2019 vacation. Unfortunately in a year a lot can happen and we notified the hotel in November of 2018 that we would have to cancel our February 2019 vacation. Although the hotel has a waiting list for that time, they refused to return our deposit. So they just made some money for nothing.||Although we planned to rebook, we will not now as we just don’t want to deal with corruption. It is this sort of thing that taints an otherwise wonderful country.||We would advise anyone planning on staying at the Rincon Resort to be cautious before payiing a deposit.||In February 2018 when we made the reservation we were told that the unheated and very cold pool would be heated. This improvement has not been implemented, and this a big problem as the hotel is not on the beach. We have heard from others that the pool is simply unusable.||There are other better options in Los Ayala right on the beach, and for less money. stay away from this...

The rooms looked lovely but few plug ins - kitchen counter had 1 plug on other side of stove which was about a foot wide- coffee pot or toaster not both. We had no hot water except for about a half hour late afternoon. Had maintenance twice- no hot water in the morning so no showe before check out and boiled water to do dishes. On check out asked for compensation and their response was we checked in early so stayed for free part of the time- I asked day before and they said to come anytime. Found room noisy could hear man above coughing, shower running so not well insulated. Really disappointed as place is brand new and modern- glad we stayed as would have booked for next year based on looks- won’t...
