Radisson Poliforum Plaza Hotel Leon — Hotel in Guanajuato

We recently stayed at the Radisson Poliforum on 1 Nov and left a on 7 Nov 2023. We were there visiting family in Leon. The hotel was perfectly placed where we were close to everything and to our family. We also had 3 other reservations during our stay there to accommodate our family that were coming from out of town. From check in to check out the staff was super in accommodating our every need during our stay there. We are Marriott Bonvoy loyal customers. This is our first stay at Raddison. The hotel was clean and had a very pleasant atmosphere. Our room was perfect, and the housekeeping staff kept our room refreshed during our stay. We hope we could get out same room when we return. I also want to send a huge thank you to all the other hotel staff. From the front desk and to the restaurant staff who were super amazing. Unfortunately, we were not able to get any names of the associates, but they were all the epitome of what great customer service should be. The front desk staff was always helpful. The restaurant staff provided 5-star service. We were there visiting family. We will definitely return to visit family again in Leon. Rest assured we will stay at your great hotel. Overall I was very happy with my stay. I enjoyed the good service at the restuarant and bar. I thought the food was very affordable. The hotel is a bit further from the main road but the benefit of that is the room was very quiet and I was able to sleep without hearing any noise despite Leon winning a football game. I enjoyed the pool, even at night despite the cooler temperature it was still enjoyable for a quick swim but I wish it had a better heater for night time swimming. The shuttle service to the nearby mall was very much appreciated. The property has a lot of secure parking available making getting in and out very easy. The service at the reception I could tell some of the staff were still being trained but it was still nice and I felt well treated as a Radisson gold member. Radisson Leon has terrible service especially if you are a foreignor. They will try to overcharge you and lie to you. Please trust me when I say that they are very unprofessional and disrespectful especially to those who are not spanish speaking.

I recommended this hotel for my friends and family a total of 20 people coming from Canada to stay in that hotel during my wedding in December and I am very disapointed in the mistreatment of my family and friends during their stay there.
