I stayed here for three nights. The dorm was 160 pesos. The dorm itself was fine, and the beds bases are made out of concrete so you don't have to worry about tossing and turning and annoying another person on the bunk bed, haha. There is an ensuite bathroom and shower. I didn't see anyone clean the room while I was there (i.e. do up the used beds or empty the bin the bathroom) but the room was still clean so it was fine. The people who work there are very nice, welcoming and relaxed, and even gave out a free drink on the first night. It's in a handy location, and the rooftop is very nice. There is also a very functional kitchen, which was also useful, especially since it is so close to the markets. No...

I stayed in a habitación doble for one night and the room was presented clean and it was comfortable with windows that could open for fresh air (there’s no air conditioner but if your not staying in summer it’s OK). The bed was OK for one night. The kitchen is basic with limited utensils, plates and cutlery but enough to cater for yourself, it also has a fridge and stove. The wifi was patchy at times but when it worked it worked well. The service and attitude of the staff member could be improved, I felt like I was an inconvenience when...
Read moreI took a bed in the co-ed dorm at 180 MXN$/night. The view from the terrace is amazing. You can see the cathedral and it looks especially nice while enjoying a cold cerveza. It is also about a 5 minute walk to the central plaza. The bad is that the hostel itself is underwhelming in services for backpackers and it's a bit ugly. The private rooms start around 450 MXN$ which seems a little too much for the value. It's a good local for the dorm room though. If you want to hear more about what to do and eat in Taxco see...
