Villa Ventura — Hotel in Jalisco

Twelve members of our family gathered at Villa Ventura for a week to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. It was the perfect choice for a once in a lifetime family vacation. We had family members who were preschoolers, teens, middle and golden agers. Villa Ventura exceeded the expectations of each and every one. The Villa was not just a place to stay but a destination in itself. With the finest of chefs, a staff that catered to every need, amenities and activities for everyone, we felt no need to go anywhere else. The Villa The Villa itself was beautiful and spacious. The art, colors and furnishings all contributed to create an immersive experience in traditional Mexican grand villa style and living. There was plenty of room for all of us to dine or gather together in one place, or to spread out into the many beautiful spaces throughout the Villa. The Staff The Staff was as amazing as the Villa. Chef Beto created a delicious variety of breakfasts and dinners for us. He consulted each day with us to arrive at a menu pleasing to all, and suitable for those who are vegetarians and have gluten allergies. Danny, the houseman, was on hand throughout the day to provide service and assistance. He was extremely good at serving the meals and creating special drinks. Alicia and Rosario quietly kept everything sparkling clean and in perfect order. They cleaned all the rooms and areas thoroughly every day, as well as the linens, the bedding, and even our laundry. When we were away from our rooms for a few minutes, we would return to find them in pristine order. Patricia, the concierge, was quickly responsive when we had questions about attractions or needed transportation. Nora was the best host ever. From the time that we inquired about Villa Ventura, through our planning process and days at the Villa, she was just a phone call or an email away, usually answering our questions within a few minutes. The entire staff is very friendly, welcoming, and professional, providing their services in respectful, quiet and efficient ways, never intrusive, and extremely responsive to our requests. After just a couple of days, they all felt like part of our family. The Amenities The amenities at the Villa are extensive. There is equipment for almost every kind of water sport and play, and games of every kind. The Location On a cliff overlooking a rocky shore on the Bay of Banderas, with a lovely sandy beach just a few steps away, the Villa’s location is magical. From the balconies and rooms of the Villa, we witnessed amazing sunsets and sea life of all kinds. Some of our frequent visitors were schools of manta rays. The villa is just a few minutes down the road from Old Town Puerto Vallarta (Zona Romantica) where some in our family explored and experienced local culture, shops, night life, and walks down the old narrow streets and along the Bay. And, a little further away, we enjoyed the world-class Vallarta Botanical Garden.

I can't even begin to put into words how amazing Villa Ventura was. From pre-arrival to check out the entire experience was everything I could have asked for and more.

Nora the host was very accessible and EXTREMELY helpful in coordinating everything and anything you could think of. She was very nonchalant about her referrals such as transportation, massages etc which made me feel even better about booking her recommendations as I could tell she was genuinely just trying to help.

Chef Beto and the staff were FANTASTIC. They help stock the house before you arrive and throughout your stay so you never need to worry about food and alcohol. From surf and turf to fajitas to huevos rancheros to fresh margaritas - everything was prepared with care and we're 5 star restaurant level food...even the chocolate chip cookies.

The cleanliness of the house was also great. The house was also cleaned and beds made by the staff as well - and if you even need to do laundry they do that too.

The AC was only in the bedrooms so the common area relied on the fans which did the trick! It's a mixed indoor / outdoor house which only added to the uniqueness of the house.

The pool and property were also cleaned daily by Danny who was so kind and friendly. The private beach was so great to walk down to and jump in the ocean too. The paddle boards and boogie boards the house provided we're an nice added bonus.

The only negative thing I would say is the photos actually didn't do the Villa justice. The house was amazing beyond description and I hope to...

I recently celebrated my 40th birthday at Villa Ventura, and it was an absolutely unbelievable experience. Every aspect of our stay exceeded our expectations, from the stunning location with a swimmable beach perfect for snorkeling to the exceptional service. The villa itself is perfect, decorated in vibrant decor. Each room had a unique look and was incredibly comfortable. The staff at the villa was outstanding, with seamless planning and communication from the owner and concierge. Everyone went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was memorable, and we were truly pampered.

The culinary experience was extraordinary, with Chef Beto preparing the most delicious, gourmet meals. Sitting in the dining room overlooking the ocean and watching the sunset will be a memory that lasts a lifetime. Our group of 11 adults found everything beyond comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed every moment.

To top it all off, we organized an epic fireworks show right from the beach below the villa, adding a spectacular finale to our unforgettable celebration. We also had mariachis come, enjoyed a chocolate tequila tasting, jets skis and massages, yoga, and fitness classes—all arranged by the villa staff.
