On the positive: menu is compelling with some great dishes, the atmosphere is pleasant, and our waiter Issrael was attentive, engaging and provided great service.

The negative: the host lacks training in hospitality and general courtesy - saw us approach the host stand and turned and left us to chat with colleagues, did not greet us when he returned, and left the front door to close on us when we left; it is a loooong wait for entrees… appetizers are quick, but the waiters were stressing waiting on the kitchen to put out their tables’ orders. The service was not bad but not super. We ordered/asked for menu but those never came out. Overall the food was actually really good though. The pizza dough was a nicely hand tossed and baked nicely. Could’ve been less cheesy if possible but one of the best foods I’ve had in a Mexico resort. Veal was good. Fish was ok. The appies were all good! Chef Paolo is a magician! My wife and daughters are VERY picky and they were blown away by the quality and flavors of all of our dishes. I don’t generally feel the need to thank the chef, but was compelled after such a wonderful meal.
