We picked Hotel Amala for the price and were pretty pleased.||Cons- ||The hotel are that it is a little far from most places that we wanted to visit (except for the dead doll island, which was walking distance).||None of the staff spoke English (but then we were in Mexico City, so that's kind of our problem...not theirs)||It can be pretty noisy if you get a screaming baby in the room next door.||Pretty aggressive porn on several channels.||||Pros - ||Nice hotel with some cool/interesting amenities.||Good...
Read moreThe hotel is nice, clean, modern. It's not exactly a place for families. More of a romantic vibe. The rooms are nice but the bed was a bit hard and the pillows could be better. The location was great, and there's a nearby bridge to walk over the highway and go to the flower market and other places. Plenty of dining options nearby. I don't recommend the restaurant there.
