La Lonchera Bistró — Restaurant in Mexico City

Everything about La Lonchera is outstanding and one-of-a-kind.

My partner and I had the pleasure of speaking with the owner who not only fed us the greatest burgers of our lives but also gave us solid recommendations for a nearby bakery and cafe in the area that we were staying in (both of which we were amazing thank you, Bernardo!)

We shared an entree of fries and Tamborera alongside the Moza and Paseando por Roma burgers. All of which were remarkable.

Also, their selection of beers is very diverse and tasty. We tried two unique beers from small breweries that paired with our meal like butter on toast :)

The flavours are incredible, the service is fantastic, and the ambience is beyond belief (so many cute dogs).

I have nothing but compliments for the wonderful team at La Lonchera. We’re truly devastated that we won’t be able to have this when we return to Canada. I’ll be dreaming of the food for the rest of my life.

De las mejores hamburguesas que he probado en la Ciudad de México. Para mí, hay hamburguesas que son comida rápida, y otras que no, y estás últimas entran en esa categoría. El chef se preocupa por los ingredientes (las mesas están muy cerca de el y puedes escuchar conversaciónes que tiene el staff) y a tu plato llega una hamburguesa que se llega a ver mejor que las fotos que tienen en el local.

Sobre los alimentos: según he conversado con el chef, el pan es especialmente preparado para su local, la carne está preparada en el punto adecuado (no sobrecoce la carne, se se siente suave y jugosa). La moza, la especialidad de la casa lleva plátano macho y queso de cincho, que combinados tienen un gran sabor. Sirven una entrada con chistorra y plátano macho que también recomiendo mucho. Constantemente varía su menú de cerveza artesanal lo cual es muy agradable. También he pedido té negro y limonada y, en lo personal, es muy agradable que estas bebidas sean naturales.

Sobre el lugar. Es un poco pequeño, y si se llena podría llena podría resultar incómodo, sin embargo las personas que atienden son increíblemente amables y están siempre dispuestos a explicarte el menú si lo necesitas y hacerte una recomendación.

Stumbled upon this gem recently, and pretty sure it will be a regular meal now. Seems like a beautiful family affair.
