Palladium PUNTA MITA — Hotel in Nayarit

Before book here, read this..

last time that I came here was ok, that was 3 years ago, and back then was a bit better, this time second time was the worst vacations of my life!

-when you booked an all inclusive hotel you spect to have a good sleep (at least), well.. think again, they have “shows” everyday! that starts at 8:30pm and ends at 1am and yes, the rooms are around the theater, I called and ask for a ear plugs and they didn’t have any and didn’t make a effort to get them for me..

-I booked on the “family selection” which suppose to be the good/expensive part of the resort, my kids supposed to get some amenities and take a tour to know the hotel, well the guy how was assign to us (butler), apparently he was very busy, he literally throw the backpacks to my kids and seat again on his desk, and said , that is it, thank you..

-Specialty restaurants, to book a table is a pain, you have some guys on desk a the entrance of each building and a app to “book” but is very hard to get a time because all are booked, you might find at 9:30pm or at 5:30pm, and when you get lucky and found one at 7pm or so, you get to the restaurant and is EMPTY! So the system that they have is a mess!

-the hotel is not in a good shape at all!

Sooo think again if you want to book here! There are more hotels out there that you can book for...

For first time travelers it might appear to be a beautiful resort. However, Buyer, BEWARE. The cleaning service to rooms was incomplete daily. Trash not emptied, dirty glasses left behind, extra pay for room service which arrived late, after the fact. The worst part of this hotel is the Check-IN system. Very poor in terms of being herded like cattle with other groups. As a result, I was put in a room with two strangers, I did not even know. They double booked the room as I was in a party of seven family members, but placed me with strangers. The tour company I used was okay, but did not have clear communication with the hotel staff on rooms. The front staff took no responsibility for their miscommunication and washed their hands as they faulted the tour operator. I actually blame the people with the iPads who herd you with other groups after you tell them you are not with that particular groups. They did not care and DO NOT LISTEN to your complaints to resolve the issue. I will never spend my hard earned $$$$ to visit or stay with them again. Think twice before booking...

Buyers beware!!! I booked through their website and dang that was a horrible idea! We came from the US and thought the travel package with the air fare included was a great deal, but we were sooo wrong. Place smelled like sewage everywhere. Drinks were horrific. I even had one of the bar tenders add plain water to a drink I ordered. The service was decent and very nice people but the place totally lacked quality food, drinks, furniture, and atmosphere. The pool was totally packed like you were on a bad cruise. The area was just plain dirty and the water was so murky because of all the people in it. My wife was afraid we were going to get robbed because of the large mass of local clientele when we walked around and saw the buses arrive/leave. We even paid the option to have a better room and drinks, but it really didn’t change anything. NEVER will we go here again. I have been to some very rough places throughout Mexico, Central America, and overseas but this place way overpriced for what I was expecting to...
