Bamboo — Restaurant in Nayarit

We didn't expect to go to Bambu on the trip as the kids don't really care for this sort of cuisine. To our surprise it was great that they had a kids menu so this made things that much easier. The menu was good but nothing special. I had some Cali rolls to start and my daughter was enjoying those as her first try. We then had some spring rolls and "dragon eye" which was just shrimp with an egg batter and fried. They were both good. Main course consisted of Beef / Chicken Sata and rice. This is probably one of the worst Asian cuisine restaurants I've ever been to. The service is good but the food is terrible and small portion. We ordered Edamames (6 pieces with a bunch of sauce), Vegetable tempura, Tofu salad, Fried rice, Shoyu ramen (looks and tasted like it came from instant noodles package), chicken yakisoba (has to be the worst yakisoba I've ever had), chicken Teriyaki (teriyaki sauce was too sweet and chicken was dry/overcooked), grilled tuna, dragon rolls (very small pieces), tempura ice cream (delicious), chizu cake, camelado de cafe (dislike),and fried banana roll (delicious!). Too warm in restaurant, no fans or A.C. Kids couldn't handle the heat, and the adults weren't enjoying it either. Our group was split between 2 tables ( which was fine as there were 12 of us and we were sat in tables next to each other) waiter took other tables order and then left, it wasn't until he returned with their food and taking their second order, did he take our order.
