Altamar is a great place to stay with modern, large clean Cabanas with ocean views. 6 minute walk on the beach from main restaurant & cafe area which makes you close to the energy and vibe of town without having the noise etc. The couple that manage Altamar live onsite and are super friendly and very helpful. You can organize a pick up and drop off at no cost from the main square if you have lots of luggage and or surf boards like we had. We absolutely loved our time here. Nice, clean cabanas with a beautiful view and the relaxing chill area outside. Located by short 5-7 minute walk from the main surf spot and village. The place to be! Beautiful cabanas in an amazing spot. The room was cozy and clean, there is a nice outdoor chilling area with hammocks and beds. The owners were very kind they give us a transfer to take the boat. Cabañas altamar its close to the main surf spot and the center of chacahua (15 minutes by walk).
