We made our reservation through the booking website. Where it was also highly ranked. We arrived to the hotel which is in the city, close to the Main Street that goes down to the main beach in puerto Escondido. The service was amicable and information was given to us regarding tourist visits and so on. The general setting of the hotel is outdated and some upkeep would not do any harm. It is quite rustic and the rooms could do with a few re-touches. Air-con was a little noisy and toilet was broken, but fixed a ad later after letting the receptionist know. There was no restaurant service, we don't know wether this was due to season or just lack of staff. The rooms were cleaned but late afternoon. Read moreHotel Paraiso Escondido is a very nice place, with kind staff and the manager and is super cool and helpful. My parents were in a suite with a huge balcony where we often sat gazing at the beautiful view we had from there. It is located quite near the beach and there are shops just one minute away if you need water or food. The pool is big and the architecture of the hotel is charming. The aircondition is sublime, very low noise and get's the room perfectly cool. It is cleaned daily and the cleaning ladies are very thorough and do a good job. The whole place is a bit old but it's pretty, clean and has good vibes. If you're going to Puerto Escondido - this is a nice...
