Whenever you visit the beautiful Oaxaca coast in Puerto Escondido and you are into sportfishing, then I highly recommend to go fishing with Captain Levi and Jordi. For me captain Levi is definitely the best fishing guide in Puerto Escondido. I know him since 2016 and had various great fishing trips with him and Jordi since then. They are very professional and reliable, and have all the knowledge and experience for a successful day of fishing, no matter if you prefer light tackle inshore fishing for jack crevalles or roosterfish, jigging, or big game fishing for mahi mahi, sailfish, marlin etc. Back in 2016, Levi and Jordi helped me to catch my first roosters on surface lures, with a big cubera snapper as a bonus!. Since then, I have caught sailfish, yellowfin tuna, mahi mahi, sierra mackerel and numerous jack crevalles with them. It’s always an adventure and great pleasure to enjoy a day on the water with them. Apart from the excellent fishing opportunities that Puerto Escondido has to offer, it’s always impressive to enjoy the beautiful nature out at sea, where you’ll certainly encounter plenty of dolphins and turtles and, depending on the season, have a very good chance to spot whales.
