Villa Blue Bay — Hotel in Oaxaca

Our visit to Villa Blue Bay was exactly what we envisioned the hidden paradise of Zipolite/Mazunte to be thanks to our wonderful hosts Paolo and Palma. The property was beautiful and, like Zipolite/Mazunte, uncomplicated. Each bedroom has multiple places to sleep and relax as well as its own bathroom. There was a place where we could prepare food and many chairs and hammocks for us enjoy the amazing views of the ocean and sunset. There was good Wi-fi so that anxious people (like us) could stay connected. Of course, like the surrounding community, the property was green and sustainable. They actively recycled, consumed only the energy that was needed, and did their best to reduce waste unlike the wasteful resort towns of Cancun and Vallarta. Our hosts were welcoming and patient with us as we acclimated to the more relaxed atmosphere of the area. They worked hard to maintain the property and encouraged us to enjoy it. Recuerden llevar repelente de mosquitos, llevar insecticida, si es que le temen mucho a los bichos, pero recuerden que es un lugar completamente en la naturaleza.

Las instalaciones aunque son austeras son muy bonitas, las vistas son inigualablemente preciosas, no hay calentador de agua para bañarse, pero lo compensa que el agua siempre está una temperatura para refrescarse.

También hay que recordar que la fauna es completamente natural del lugar y que no tenemos porque excedernos en el uso de herramientas para defendernos de ellos .

Recuerda que si encuentras un cangrejo, una iguana, un gato, un perro, no los lastimes, también son parte de este mundo y lo hacen aún más bello .

En Villa Blue Bay, vas a encontrar esto y un poco más igual que sus hermosas vistas, igual que el hermoso Sunset y el cálido recibimiento de los anfitriones.

Es una visita que no puedes dejar de ver. Si hay aire acondicionado, hay toallas de baño, hay pocas amenidades como shampoo y jabón de baño.

Such a beautiful piece of Mexico paradise !! Incredible views with sunsets like no other ! The area is quiet, peaceful and calm but still close enough to the town of Zipolite to enjoy more action amazing food !! The hosts are extremely friendly and take amazing care of their land. Would definitely stay again and recommend to family...
