This has to be one of the best views in the city. It was absolutely breath taking to watch the sun set near the pool. Upon our welcome we are greeted with live traditional music and tea. This was very vibrational. We were escorted to the front desk and assisted with our luggage to our rooms. Everyone was welcoming and very helpful. This was awesome after a long day of driving.
The rooms were spacious and perfect for a one night stay.
I like that they take credit cards even in the gift shop and everything seemed affordable.
The spa is spot on. These services are definitely necessary for the guests commuting here.
However, This hotel is a bit worn. As beautiful as it appears, I could tell there needs to be some overdue maintenance. They are doing construction to expand right outside the window but they should focus on patching up things in the current establishment. The water from the shower runs over on to the floor. Water pressure wasn’t that great neither. The gym lacks ventilation and was uninviting and the sauna in the spa was outdated and just warm. Every few minutes we were instructed to toss water on the heater. We were actually given a bucket of water and a large spoon.
The pool was freezing which could’ve worked had the hot tub been hot. It was luke warm as well….
The food was my least favorite. Edible but a bit bland. So level your expectations with this.
Over all It wasn’t a terrible stay. This is just constructive feedback. A few notes. Considering everything this place has good value and was good for a one night stay.
I would come back to this hotel and I would encourage others to stay here as well. Hopefully in the near future, they will give some attention to the current accommodations. Oh and the...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of staying at the Dades Xaluca Hotel, and I must say it was an absolutely great experience. Nestled amidst the rugged beauty of the Moroccan desert, this hotel truly stands out.
Location and Views: The hotel is strategically perched on the edge of the Dades Gorge, offering breath-taking panoramic views of the surrounding red cliffs and the winding Dades River. Sunrise and sunset here are nothing short of magical and its breath-taking sunsets are gorgeous
Architecture and Design: The blend of traditional Berber architecture with modern amenities is seamless. The adobe-style buildings, arched doorways, and terracotta hues create an authentic and inviting atmosphere. The central courtyard with its lush greenery and mosaic fountains is a tranquil oasis.
Rooms and Comfort: My room was spacious, elegantly furnished, and impeccably clean. The plush bed ensured a restful night's sleep after a day of exploring the nearby valleys.
Dining Experience: The hotel's restaurant serves a delightful mix of Moroccan and international cuisine. Don't miss the tagine dishes—they're flavourful and authentic. Had a buffet style dinner and breakfast and they had delicious food and lots to choose from.
Warm Hospitality: The staff at Dades Xaluca went above and beyond to make us feel welcome from the moment we entered the hotel to check in.
In summary, the Dades Xaluca Hotel is a hidden gem in the heart of Morocco's desert. If you're seeking tranquillity, stunning vistas, and authentic Moroccan hospitality, look no further. I would return and recommend to everyone
