Hôtel Amgoune — Hotel in Boumalne Dades

I would like to start by mentioning we booked the hotel through Booking.com, but after we saw the place we decided to run and not stay overnight. We booked somewhere else in the town.

The location on Google Maps is wrong, somewhere in a back alley at the other side of the town. Difficult to find.

Before I go through the negative stuff, I really appreciate the host which helped us find the location, agreed to cancel and refund us the price for the room. That was really nice. Also, the view over the city is nice.

The bad part is the place itself: the room was very expensive for what it has to offer. The furniture was old, the tablecloth was dirty, with holes in it. The chairs were old and very used. Some people there were painting stuff, but made it look worse.

But the worst thing were the people inside, not sure whether they were customers or just hanging around, but they looked dubious. Smoking in the restaurant and looking at us. The restaurant (I think it was) was dirty.

C’est un endroit vraiment dégueulasse on dirait que on est dans un prison de l’Amérique latine au café, beaucoup des clients qui fume et ça sent fort marijuana hachich les chambres souterraine on dirait qu’on descend dans un filon de mine la fille qui m’accompagner à la chambre et m’a propose le prix a 150 dirham j’ai accepté j’ai payé, j’ai donné mon carte d’identité j’ai parti chercher ma valise j’ai rentré à la chambre il y a la fille qui m’a accompagné au début qui arrive à la chambre qui arrive me rends mon argent et m’a carte identité il m’a dit que le patron lui dit 300 dirhams même pas une explication ni d’excuse c’est vraiment pas honnête,...
