TOURIST TRAP. TERRIBLE SERVICE. DO NOT GO.
I am sure the google reviews are a scam. We waited over 40 minutes for any food to arrive, even though we ordered the soup. How long can it take to make soup, come on. The food itself was also terrible, especially the soup. We ordered cream legume and moroccan soup, which had the flavour and texture of blended potatoes, totally unseasoned, and cost 20 and 25 Dh each. Unbelievable! Regular soup only costs at most 15 Dh in this area. We also had the mixed tacos (which had fries in the taco, along with fries as a side) which was mediocre, and the kefta pasticcio, which also unexpectedly had fries in it. They stuff fries in everything. And the grilled steak was overcooked and tough. The speed at which the restaurant makes food is absurdly slow. We had several other diners there who also waited forever for their food, and they only seem to be making one dish at a time with one guy. Stay away from this place, absolute...
Read moreWith a fantastic location and exceeding friendly staff, this place will probably be my favourite in Morocco. The setting is stunning. I had three marvellous hikes with Mohamed. His company was great and had a excellent knowledge base. Everyone was so kind, always greeting me by name. I feel they were all sincere. My room was large with a balcony overlooking the river with sounds of birds and frogs. So tranquil. Food was excellent and varied, served with smile from a different Mohamed. Omar was a real thoughtful kind man and I very much enjoyed our evening conversations over tea on the terrace. He had good advice for my further travels. One evening we were treated to music by the staff as a young woman celebrated her birthday. There is much to do in the region and the entire area is a...
Read moreWe went there and it was a terrible experience. We waited for 1 hour to get our food, and on top of that, they brought something completely different from what we ordered. We asked for chicken skewers, and they just brought plain pieces of chicken. We ordered a kebab or wrap (like in the picture), and asked for it without cheese because we can’t eat it, but instead they brought us fried chicken stuffed with cheese and sausages (cordon bleu). I went to tell them, and they laughed in their own language.
Also, on their website it says you can pay by card, but that’s not true — they only accept cash.
I do not recommend this...
