My experience at La Sultana Marrakech was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, I was warmly welcomed with traditional Moroccan cookies and a refreshing local drink, setting the tone for an unforgettable stay. The hotel itself is a masterpiece — beautifully maintained, full of character, and brimming with authentic charm.
When I arrived in the room, I was delighted to find thoughtful touches like fresh fruit, cookies, and dates waiting for us — a small gesture that spoke volumes about the attention to detail and care the staff provides. Every member of the team was genuinely hospitable, always ready with a warm smile and a willingness to help.
The concierges were truly outstanding, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort and happiness. They not only helped me book wonderful excursions but made sure I enjoyed every moment, personalizing the experience to our tastes. One day while exploring the souks, I found myself a little lost. To my amazement, a man who recognized us — a gardener from La Sultana on his day off — kindly helped guide me to our destination. This act of kindness perfectly encapsulates the spirit of La Sultana: a genuine commitment to making guests feel cared for, even beyond the hotel walls.
One of the highlights of my stay was spending time on the breathtaking rooftop gardens. The views over the Kasbah and the distant Atlas Mountains were absolutely stunning — a perfect place to unwind and soak in the beauty of Marrakech.
La Sultana felt like a sanctuary in the heart of the city, and I left feeling deeply grateful for the warmth, elegance, and impeccable service I experienced. I can’t wait to return!
Xavier, Saida, and the whole team deserve the most in praise for all of...
Read moreWhere to start. Everything about this place is magical. Upon arrival we were greeted with their homemade almond milk and a snack which was delicious. The property itself is very cool and every detail was beautiful and unique. The staff was extremely kind, helpful, and polite. They have truly thought of every detail. After checking in we went to the restaurant which blew us away. The seafood is incredible. The drinks are amazing. The servers and chef are world class. We especially loved that all the vegetables are grown on property. Also, make sure to order oysters. We then ventured to the pool which is gorgeous, quiet and has great views. The first night I had an amazing massage in the spa. The next day the hotel let us use kayaks and we went to the beach which was really fun. We wish we would have done the picnic lunch on the beach. We saw a few people doing it and it looked fun. We then had an another amazing dinner and ordered the seafood platter which is huge and so so good. The hotel arranged a really nice shuttle the next day back to the airport with room to spread out and wifi. Everything about this hotel is 5 star. Book this!! You won't regret it. Special shout out to our rockstar servers Yuenes and Mohammad. Also, Mohammad our taxi driver was great. Thanks again for a...
Read moreTOTAL Waste of time!!! After a wonderful trip in Marrakech (try the one on Avenue M). We were ready for an other stop and were hesitating between a night in Oualidia at La sultana and/or the hotel/casino MOGADOR in El Jadida before going back home to the US. We stopped at la Sultana and got chased away literally by the extremely rude and unwelcoming waiter from their beach restaurant. He wouldn’t allow us to visit!!!! He referred to a sign “reserved for guests only” He asked us to go online to pay for the reservation first! We were accompanied by a Moroccan family. 6 people total. I would NOT recommend this hotel. The whole region is beautiful and sceneries are breathtaking everywhere. So many other options other than this inhospitable and even maybe ….racist overpriced hotel. If you are looking for Moroccan hospitality keep driving! This place is on a dirt road next to a cemetery and unless you pay in advance, you won’t be allowed to visit or check in directly. We ended up at the Mogador Hotel (El Jadida). Enchanting and beautiful but also very welcoming to us and our wonderful Moroccan friends...
