Riad Les jardins de Merzouga — Hotel in Caïdat de Taouz

This riad is a true gem. Located in a stunning spot right next to the breathtaking sand dunes. We received a warm welcome from the owner with tea and cookies on the rooftop, which offered a phenomenal view.

The room had all the comforts we needed: a wonderful bed, a great shower, and a stunning view of the dunes and palm trees. It was very clean and tastefully decorated, with cozy lighting.

We stayed here in February, and the room was pleasantly warm. There was also plenty of hot water. The WiFi throughout the building was excellent.

Then the dinner—fantastic. You can choose from several dishes; we opted for the Moroccan soup and the chicken tagine. Nowhere else had we tasted it this good. The dining area was atmospheric, with nice background music.

Breakfast was just as delightful: fresh orange juice, bread rolls, eggs, fruit, pastries, cheese, jam—nothing was missing.

The owner truly ensures that his guests have a great stay, and we felt very welcome.

He also arranged a private quad tour through the desert for us, making sure we were picked up and brought back to the riad.

We had a wonderful time at Les Jardins de Merzouga and hope to return...

Exceptional experience! Very, very friendly and helpful staff. We got a beautiful, authentic room with a view of the desert. Good condition system. We were there on the last day of November and the first day of December, so the thing that the conditioner had a heat function was a big plus. Ordered dinner on the riad for 12€ (120 MAD) per person, and got a salat, tajin, and dessert. Tea is for free :) Full breakfast, very tasty, fresh, and high-quality ingredients - got eggs, bread, different jams (figue, apricot), cheeses, coffee, chocolat jam. Parking is very comfortable. There was very quiet at the night. Thank you very much!...

Recently, our family had an amazing trip to Merzouga, exploring the Sahara Desert with three kids and friends. Choosing this Riad over traditional tents was a wise decision. The spacious, clean rooms, well-organized activities like camel riding, and delicious meals made our stay exceptional. The manager's attention to detail, like preparing a special meal for our kids, left a lasting impression. We're planning a return, and our friends are considering a week-long stay this spring.
