Through Adil Maliki of Marrakech Desert Travel, I booked a Sahara Desert night experience at the Sahara Desert Luxury Camp near Merzouga. And what a wonderful experience that was. The ride through the mountain ranges, the deserts, and the many other amazingly beautiful sites were astounding. A comfortable car and a safe driver were allocated to me by Adil. The staff at the camp were friendly and welcoming, and the camp accommodation (tents) was spacious, quiet, comfortable, and luxurious. Sunset, full moon, and an amazingly star-studded sky, a tasty Lam Tagine for dinner, sitting around a Berber camp fire and listening to Berber drums and songs, as well as an appetising breakfast, made this visit an impressive and memorable one. Adil Maliki from Marrakech Desert Travel organised everything from start to end, the driver, transport, and accommodation. All was taken care of in a professional manner. During the entire tour, Adil kept in contact with Ali, who was the driver allocated to me, as well as inquiring about the wellbeing of myself, ensuring there were no problems. If you are looking for a well organized, seamless, safe, and secure travel experience in Morocco, I can certainly recommend Adil Maliki of Marrakech Desert Travel, who is and performed as a good...

Not for us. Overpriced for the service we got. They also charged extra cost for transfer to the camp 40€ each way with a car. So the total for two nights was 400€. For that price you should get a warm room (it was freezing cold during the night) with a proper bathroom. The shower drain was almost clogged and it took hours for the water to go down. The bathroom carpet was wet for our whole stay because of this. Wi-Fi was very poor.

Everything seemed quite poorly organized. They didn’t tell us anything about the schedule, and for example when we asked the time for dinner: first they said it’s gonna be ready at 19-19:30 and then at 19 they said at 20-20:30. The dinner had no menu for drinks and the waiters didn’t seem to know what they have to offer.

Unfortunately our review is mostly about the negatives, but we also had nice moments: the guys working there were friendly and we had fun driving a quad. Trying sandboarding was fun too. Also they have a lovely guard dog. Dinner was okay but the amount of food served during lunch and dinner is just ridiculous - I hope they just don’t throw...

The experience was nothing short of spectacular. Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and truly went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and enjoyment.||||The accommodations provided during our tour were both comfortable and authentic, allowing us to immerse ourselves in the beauty and tranquility of the desert. The evening under the stars was magical, with a delightful local meal and traditional music that added to the ambiance.||||What impressed us the most was the attention to detail and the professionalism of the entire team. Safety was clearly a top priority, and we felt well cared for throughout our journey. The tour was well-organized, with a perfect balance of adventure, relaxation, and cultural experiences.||||This Sahara tour is a must for anyone looking to explore the beauty of the desert. It’s an experience that combines adventure, culture, and relaxation in a seamless and memorable way. We highly recommend this service to anyone seeking an unforgettable...

5 stars no question. We researched several different Sahara camps and decided to go with Idir and his amazing staff and wow, we were not disappointed! The communication from the beginning to the end was exceptional. The tents are pure luxury, hot water showers, heaters, flushing toilet, nice vanity, usb chargers, wifi connection and the list goes on. The staff were so friendly and helpful and aimed to make sure we were having the best time. The food was top notch and more than we could eat. Our kids (and us) had the best time sandboarding and participating in the nightly campfire experience. The sunset camel ride was an experience I don't think we will ever forget, just magical. We have spent over a month in Morocco and have experienced some amazing things but this experience was the highlight of our trip. It is a must do and if you can swing it do more than one night so that you can get a full day of desert fun! We highly recommend the Sahara Desert Luxury camp!

Absolutely a once-in-a-lifetime experience! first you start with a 1.5-2.5 hour camel trek through the Merzouga Dunes (spectacular) and you end up at the camp site. Food (Breakfast and Dinner) and Music was excellent! I never ate so much in my life; very filling for sure! Room had hot showers and full flushing toilets; including the bed so amenities were excellent compared to many hotels in Marrakesh or Fez especially being in the heart of the sahara desert for sure. If you stay here for more than one night, recommend doing dune boarding and they have boards outside to do; fun and also tons of camels roaming around too, approach with respect and caution if you are going to pet them. The wifi and cell signal is not the greatest here but knowing you’re in the middle of the desert, you would focus more on the experience itself. They will take your luggage for you and will be there by the time you finish the camel trek.
