We found this site to be fairly decent as long as you’re able to over look its tired facade. We had not booked but turned up and were greeted by a very pleasant chap who quickly checked us in and took payment. 240MAD for 2 people for two nights. The same price as we’ve paid at other sites with lesser facilities.
We weren’t really told where anything was or where we could go so we just picked a semi shaded spot and hoped for the best. It turned out great except for an ant invasion!!
The electric hookup at the pitch was fine, although looked like it needed some attention to ensure it is safe to use, a similar story elsewhere… There are plenty of rubbish bins around and the site is quite tidy.
The pool was a nice bonus but could have done with someone cleaning it out. There were many bird feathers floating around which I didn’t much care for. It is unheated and 25 degrees according to my watch. Once you get over the initial shock, it’s quite pleasant and I managed 50 lengths a day. It’s 25m in length - unsure of the width but also quiet with sun loungers and some parasols to provide shade.
It is located in a quiet town about a 7-8 minute walk with a nice expansive beach. The views are great and it’s a perfect spot to watch the sunset.
Unfortunately however this is where the positives end. Let’s start with the sanitary facilities. There was no toilet paper in any of the cubicles and many of the toilet seats were not secured properly. And whose idea was it to use shiny tile everywhere? Whilst perfectly fine when dry, they the lethal with the smallest amount of moisture. There was no soap in the soap dispensers at the sink and all the hand dryer didn’t work because why would it? Oh and dodgy electrics that I mentioned earlier are found here too. Missing flaps from the electrical outlets by the sinks just felt outright dangerous.
The showers are lovely and warm but the person who did the plumbing needs to go back to school. The mixer tap is on backwards, cold is hot and on is off etc. There is nowhere to hang or put your clothes so they don’t get wet and the doors are deteriorating badly from being wet.
If some money and care and attention were spent here, this site could be a destination rather than a transitory place. It annoys me that we are expected to pay for a substandard experience whilst our money lines someone’s pockets.

Read moreSo grateful for this lovely campsite! We were greeted with warm smiles, adorable local kittens and invited to pick whatever pitch we wanted. The pitches were spacious, hedge lined and clearly marked out. The pool was large, clean and inviting to cool off in after a hot drive. The bathrooms had plenty of stalls- we needed to bring our own soap and loo roll (like we did in Italy, Spain, France and Portugal)- but the best bit was the HOT showers with amazing water pressure! So very grateful to have a hot shower- there were even hooks and a cube to bring your items into the stall and keep them dry. Great facilities, gray and black water disposal, place to wash your dishes, plenty of bins to keep things tidy. It felt like a luxury campsite to us compared to most of our stays on this trip and we got to enjoy it for less than £10! We highly recommend it and are grateful to the whole team for their...
Read moreA quiet, calm, spacious site... good sized plots with green hedges... EHU and water, hot showers (not always), swimming pool although way too.cold at this moment to swim. Little stroll to village to buy bread, gas, basic provisions and a wee booze supermarket. Easyish cycle to Kenitra 5miles which has everything you need. Bars, restaurants, shopping, KFC. So, a great introduction to Morocco at about 4 hrs drive from Tanger-Med. Would give 3.75 stars if I could... because Washing machines still not working. Hot water not reliable. Toilets, no toilet roll of course, but they could clear away the cobwebs?
I would return though. 120...
