We were a family of six, and had booked at Maison Hannaoui which was a family run guesthouse, the room given had a double bed and a row of sofas not expected when booking online, the room was not child friendly, broken and loose floortiles. The sofas are placed against the windows, the windows do not have zellij for protection, My 2year old daughter was very close to falling out, by standing on the sofa, the building is 3 storeys high. We could'nt sleep all night just in case our daughter woke up goes on a walkabout. Apart from that the room did not have a fan or refrigerator. We complained the following morning due the lack of safety. We were shifted to a room on the terrace, although slightly safe for our daughter, the room seemed to have been neglected, the glass doors had 2 large cracked, and seemed the glass would fall out if the door slams.Once again the room had a double bed and a row of sofas, children slept on the sofas. The bedding was smelly, our bodies started itch, resulting in rash.||What can i say we had miserable time in Maison Hannaoui, no separate sink to wash my daughter's utensils, had to use the bathroom sink located near the toilet. The toilet itself was rocky and needed the plumber's attention. The lanterns on the terrace were old and rusty, were not functioning and were just eyesore, needed discarding, just like everything else.||The place is not being maintained. The Hannaoui's cannot speak a word of English, which was very frustrating, we felt lonely. It was not worth it. ||Our stay in Fez, was about the same rate, but had the luxury dar including kitchen entirely for ourselves, including breakfast .||In maison Hannaoui breakfast was mean't to be prepared, but they declined to prepare, due to Ramadan.||I would not recommend it to anyone, there a urgent need for essential facilities ,as well as...

The bathroom was not cleaned and the toilet was still dirty of the escrement of the previous guest. The only handsoap available into the bathroom was used by others and full of water.||We paid the room and escape after two hours to another and more confortable riad in moulay idriss. This is the first time in my life I write this kind of recension but I've never seen a dirty place like this, basically hygiene completely missing. This place should not be allowed...
