So we stayed at this hotel in October because they accept pets and decided to come back to it in December because it was OK. They charge 5000 kyats per pet which is pretty reasonable. The second time we stayed without the dog, though. Our last visit was unpleasant. They started ripping off foreigners. Told us some fairy tale about the immigration office not allowing male foreigners to stay with a local female in the same room. Our friend has a local girlfriend and she came to stay with him in his double room. They wanted him to pay 30 000 kyats extra just to register her. We live in Myanmar for years now and travel at least 4 times per year. This was obviously a dirty trick played by their hungry manager. We moved to another hotel where nobody heard of such a thing. We travelled to Bagan and Pyin Oo Lwin right after that and there were no such rules. In addition to this, they started overcharging us for our laundry, damaged some items, and the smell wasn’t fresh. It was as though they didn’t use enough detergent. At last, the hotel is very noisy and accepts part-time guests. I highly recommend to avoid this place.
