The hotel is ideally located, very close to the mandalay palace and is close by to indian restaurants. The hotel staff are very warm and friendly and greeted me with a welcome drink and also arranged for taxi on the way back to the airport. The room is very comfortable with all the basic amenities.

Interior decoration is quite old that should be replaced with widescreen LED TV, lighting fixture and also AC should be maintained to reduce noise especially when customer is fall asleep

After staying at the Vintage Classic Yacht Hotel in Yangon, and We stay @ Bagan Lotus in Bagan, the Emperor hotel in Mandalay was absolutely disappointing. We booked Superior rooms, but they were small and not well lit. The bathroom was the worse part, small, tiny, dingy with no place to hang your clothes, such horrible lighting you can barely see your face, and worse of all, the bath tub had no Shower curtain and when you bathe the bathroom floor is covered in water. While we could adjust with the room, the most horrible part was the tiny bathroom. We were very very disappointed we chose this property. Only a small restaurant next to the hotel, no shopping, nothing close by. I found the location horrible too. There is an Indian Restaurant, and a convenience store, a Grab & Go store 5 minutes walk away, but nothing else to do around. A truly depressing property. Another thing to mention was the breakfast, small dining area, tiny coffee cups, luke warm coffee and very limited choices....||On the good side, the staff were always ready to help, smiling and cheerful. Internet worked well. They organised a taxi to drop us off at the bus stop but I thought 15000 MMK was a bit steep for the 15 minuted ride. We got a cake and bed decorated on are anniversay and that was very thoughtful. Lots of mosquitos in the room, but staff came and sprayed a repellant. Food to order in the room was a bit pricey.||Will I stay here or recommend - I dont...

We stayed there four nights in superior room which has a good-sized bathtub and the room has a perfect space to chill including a small balcony. They made a surprised bd cake for my gf .Breakfast is so good with traditional Burmese steamed sticky rice matched with fritters,Burmese noodles, rice, fruits and toasts.||The hotel location is very good ,close to most of the highlight places in Mandalay. The environment is not quite quiet since it's close to Mote-side street but why not? It will only takes you 1 min from the hotel to have a walk on the Mote side..I loved it!||Hotel's staffs are always smiley and friendly. The housekeeper girl was so patient to keep our room clean ,neat and tidy everyday even though we both alwaysv make mess. The service they provide is really fast, realiable and worth more than the price you give to them .I recommend...

Beter hadden we maximaal 3 dagen zullen blijven...
