Blissful Inn Nyaung Shwe — Hotel in Taunggyi District

The hotel was a little bit far from the main road, about 10 mins walk to get there but overall it's a very good hotel for the services. The staff was very friendly, you can ask them for things to do in Inle Lake, book a bike, bus etc, overall they were very helpful and kind. Even my friend arrived about 3 am in the morning, and they greeted her and even allow her to have an early check in without any charges. Other good thing was when we book a trip to see the sunrise and got to go about 5 am, the staff even prepared our breakfast and pack it in plastic bag for us. :)||||The room was very clean but no AC, it's okay because we were there on monsoon. The breakfast was good, western style with bread, jam, butter, egg, tea and some fruits. Rooms: Very clean and beds are quite comfy. Bathroom is clean and includes toiletries, face towels and bath towels. Universal electrical outlets as well. Rooms are cleaned daily. Ceiling fan. Inle lake is cold in the evening and there is no need for AC.||Staff: Incredibly friendly. Possibly the most accommodating I have met to date. When we arrived at 3 AM they didn't charge us for the remainder of the night. The staff (I believe it is a family) were all there to greet us despite the early hour. Bike rentals are cheap (2000 kyats), and can be arranged through the hotel. Fabulous service and staff, even by Burmese standards. Good breakfast. Otherwise you'll get better value however elsewhere in Nyaungshwe. The hotel doesn't have a/c, the rooms are tiny (just a bit larger than the twin beds), and the bathroom shower isn't enclosed. The location is a bit further out of the center than you will want. For the same price more or less you can stay in a better location and in a far nicer hotel facility wise (e.g. Royal Luxury or Yar Pyae for instance: both are air conditioned, better facilities, significantly larger rooms, and in a better location).
