Last week we visited in Inle Lake and can be found the lovely hotel at there. That’s La Yaung Thoon. When we arrived in inle at morning 6 A.M, during that time they gave us early check in and the room they allocated for us if we don’t like, they will change it immediately. Really satisfied for the very first time of our arrival. And then, the staff are really friendly and nice to talk with us. The room we stay was clean, spacious, quiet and have balcony. From there I got too many photos.Their breakfast was very fantastic and during our stayed at there it’s the weekday periods, so they will be served ala’cart breakfast. Including seasonal fruits like watermelon, strawberry, avocado, and so on. We had perfect breakfast from their rooftop restaurant with the view of sunrise from Shan mountains and seeing the flied of ballrooms over us. The thing I would like to tell you, if you stayed in La Yaung Thoon, you can feel that, the two places you arrive at the same time. That two places are our ancient city Bagan coz of they decorated their hotel with an old Bagan style and the second, it’s situated in most of the foreigners’ favorite place of Inle Lake. That’s why I want you to choose that hotel if you visit in Inle Lake. I’m sure that it’ll make you wonderful time for staying with them.In additionally, they also gave us late check out till 5pm, absolutely there was nothing to say anymore. Really nice and good service ever.I want to share some of my photos when we were in La...
Read moreVery cheap hotel (we payed around € 30,- per night for a double room), pretty good for the price.||||The hotel is outside the town (approx. 3000 Kyat with Tuk Tuk to the market), it takes around 15 minutes walking to the city center. Quiet neighborhood, we heard some dogs bark during the night, but that`s it. Comfortable beds, cleanliness in the room was ok (could have been cleaner, but far away from being dirty). Bathroom ok - typical Asian, no shower curtain which led to funny floodings, but this is normal in Asia. Breakfast basic (eggs, fruits, some sweets), but absolutely ok. Served on the roof top terrace, pretty nice.||Wifi working one day, after that out of order for another day and so on. But the reception can help you with internet on their devices if you really need it.||Staff absolutely lovely - helped to organise a trip to the winery and always smiling. Thanks a lot!||||If you wanna save money while having a solid quality (no bugs, no bad smell from the sink, clean linen, warm water, good AC) - take this one.||||Funny anecdote: We wondered why our bedside lamps didn´t work and found out that the bulbs were loose. In the evening, we learned why: There is something wrong with the bulbs or with the electricity. :-) If the bulb is screwed in correctly, it will glow even when the power is off. So you have to screw it out. :-)||Somehow lovely, this is how this hotel works... and we really liked it:...
Read moreThe "La Yaung Thoon Hotel" is a new and very beautiful hotel in Nyaung Shwe. The personal is one of the nicest I've experienced so far during my 3-months-all-around-asia-tour.|Even though it's not really in the center of Nyaung Shwe the location didn't really bother me since Nyaung Shwe is a small town anyway and you get free bicycles in the hotel. |The room is clean, comfortable and the furnishing (bed, AC, shower, etc.) is high-quality. Even the breakfast was above expections with a wide range and alot of "extras" (pancakes with all kind of toppings, eggs in different variations, fried rice & noodles, french fries and more).|To be honest I don't know how good this hotel will be in around 10 years but for now it's probably one of the best hotels you can find in Nyaung Shwe for this pretty low...
