Grace Pho Sein Hotel — Hotel in Yangon

I moved here since my business trip was extended to weekend and the hotel i was staying was fully booked in weekend.||This is the hotel where everything is just so wrong.|1. Price: enjoy the double price (in compare to locals) if you are foreigners|2. The room|With a 70$ room, you will have: small room with tiny bathroom, noise, no closet, no hanger, no water boiler.|3. What else I got:|- broken shower: it was broken (god know when) when I checked in, so I can not adjust hot water level. They use a kind of temporary shower head instead. The staff told me that I can adjust by touching the switch on the water heater (which is 2.5m from the ground and I'm 1.5m. So if you're not 2m height and skinny enough to fit into a tiny bathroom, think carefully.|They did say they would change the room if something available the day after. It just weird that you gotta pay full price for half-fully function room.|- internet: i come there on a biz trip. So internet is important. My computer can not connect to their wifi. And they told me I can use my phone to be wifi hotspot instead. Helpful hah.|- my AC remoter is broken too, lucky after many attempts, they found something to replace it.|||So my two cents, pay 10$ more and go to Taw Win Garden, double in size, super comfy bed and bathroom, next to 3 malls with plenty choice of restaurant, perfect room service - a four star hotel with...

I used to stay in a suite room for over 5yrs on monthly basic where we drinks and chitchat to escape from the stressful environment. Yesterday we booked the same room to meet with friends to drink and chitchat as usual. Reception said we can only check in at 19:30hrs and we said fine. We are OK because we want a big room. A few hours later informed me that our check-in time will be 20:30hr coz room is occupied. I said that OK we will check in at 20:30 and 2 of us will sleep overnight but the rest 2 will go back at midnight as usual.||When we check in at 21:00hrs, fat guy with glasses talk to us very rudely that you had to check out on 23:00hrs. I told him 2 of us will sleep overnight and the other 2 will go back at 12:00 midnight. We are willing to pay for extra bed charges as well. But he said go and drink in bar at rooftop or leave the room at 23:00 if want to drink in room.||Finally, i realize that hotel is renting the room in hourly basic and reception did not want to rent the room if we stay overnight.
