I recently stayed at the Hotel Yangon in early July 2018 and was disappointed with the hotel. The staff were nice and helpful but the hotel itself was very ordinary. ||My room on the 9th floor smelled very musty and damp and my bathroom was mouldy but the actual state of the hotel leaves a lot top be desired. ||The owners should be ashamed of the state it is in. Read moreSince the time i visited Yangon was during the Thingyan festival and it is advisable not to stay in city centre, So in the end we booked this hotel since it is nearby to the airport. During Thingyan festival, every where is closed so most of our time is spend inside the hotel. The bed is a bit hard but not affecting our sleep, there is a restaurant in 12th floor and the ground floor. Hotel breakfast is provided, wide varieties of choices and I love the Congee especially, no salty at all. Bacon and fried chicken is good as well, highly...
