Kone Myint Thar Restaurant — Restaurant in Yangon

I went to this place on one Saturday morning in December 2021. Place is located on the side of Pyay Road just right after the fly over bridge passed 8th mile junction city driving towards the downtown. It is a landed establishment with plenty of parking place inside.

Atmosphere is quite nice. The place is huge that you would forget you are in Yangon. There are two setups, indoor and outdoor seating. We opted to sit outdoor.

It is somewhat similar to feel restaurants standard menu, some traditional burmese foods like MonHinGha, Samusa, NanGyiTote, Tea, Parata, etc... They also have some DimSum items. I got myself a MonHinGha and they are a little on pricier side....taste is just average. It is the experience ppl would enjoy especially for breakfast time.

The food is good but some of the places are very dirty and also the breakfast dimsum was so many my family of 5 couldnt finish it and the servers were very lazy and some of our orders didn’t arrived. The parking lot is always full in the morning breakfast time. The outside part of the restaurant have seats and tables. They are so dirty and they never clean after someone ate. The noise is also loud because its beside the road. I prefer inside but inside is noisy with waiter’s shouting voices and...

We had breakfast at this place. The complimentary Burmese tea was excellent. The space is large with plenty of tables and a good parking area. Prices are slightly on the higher side. We tried the Mandalay Mee Shae, which was not to my personal taste. However, the warm tofu — it was outstanding. Staffs are friendly. My mobile SIM card was disconnected and I needed WiFi, but their WiFi was also not working. Overall a great place for meeting with friends and...
