Ghandruk Resort — Hotel in Annapurna

Worst hotel experience I've ever had – avoid at all costs.

I don’t even know where to begin. This hotel was a complete disaster from start to finish. The service was shockingly bad — the front desk staff was rude, unresponsive, and seemed completely uninterested in helping with even the most basic requests. I had to wait over an hour just to check in, and no one even apologized for the delay.

Now onto the room: it was filthy. Stains on the sheets, a foul smell in the bathroom, broken fixtures, and the air conditioning barely worked. I asked to change rooms, but the staff brushed me off and told me there was "nothing they could do."

There was constant noise all night, both from inside the hotel and from outside, making sleep nearly impossible. On top of everything, the "amenities" advertised were either closed, broken, or non-existent.

This place doesn’t even deserve one star. It felt more like a run-down hostel than a hotel. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy. Stay far away — your health, sanity, and money are worth...

We were looking for a place to rest after trekking for a few days and were lead here by all the great reviews.

Overall it was an average experience. The room we had was large and had a great view but our sleep was poor due to no window blinds and the resorts bright blue lights making our room shine blue.

Staff were friendly but waiters spoke no English so it is tough for a foreigner. Food was tasty, although the dinner included is only served at 8-8:30, which was late for hungry trekkers.

Realizing there was no hot water either the day we arrived or the next morning we decided to shift accommodations for our 2nd night in Ghandruk.

Lots of potential for this resort but it has some improvements to do first before it deserves anything more then 3.5 or 4 stars. At 6000 npr for a suite room and food the value was fine but we did expect hot water and...

We found a random cap inside our blanket that didn't belong to us, the sheets were dirty and stained. Also our rooms electricity was not working properly. There were no proper resources inside our room even when we asked them to take care of it they seemed indifferent to our requests. The cups and utensils were not washed properly and they stank. Our cup even had a lipstick stain on it. The food service was frustratingly slow and bad. The place looked under staff even in peak season. The views from the hotel and the location was the only nice experience...
