When we walked in for an enquiry for room rates, we were told by the owner of a certain amount and we agreed to return the following morning. We extended our stay in Ghandruk just to move from our hotel and spend another night here, as the property looked beautiful, and so was the view of the mountains. When we actually walked in with our bags the next morning, the staff at the cafe looked least interested in taking the enquiry and kept busy in his phone, eventually after trying to get his attention and confirming once again, he hiked up the room rates by 30%. It's sad that such beautiful looking property hires incapable staff that are least interested in providing service, let alone quality service. It takes away the credibility of the hotel as these staff are the ones handling guests face to face who can make or break the guest experience.
