I am confused hich one should I say is the worst? I visited that place with my 2 kids for a daycation. We wanted to have lunch there but the manager said, It will take 1.5 hour to 2 hours to prepare the lunch because nothing is ready! So my question is if you can’t provide guest lunch then why the owner is running a holiday cottage like that?? Then we said we are very hungry if they have anything which will be quick then they said, fried rice and chowmine can be the quicker which took 30 mints! When the food arrived we couldn’t eat them because the rice and the chowmin were not hard and not boiled well!🤷🏻♀️ None of us could eat them much! Later when we wanted to rent the clothes to wear for photos, the Manager said, He can’t give them now, we need to come in the Morning! But when we reached there we saw 7/8 guests were wearing them already for photos! Immoderately we called the phone number written on a board on their cottage to complain and after we call the number someone picked and listened everything, Right after, the manager came and told us that we can rent the clothes!! |TRIP-ADVISOR should think many times before marking a brand as...
Read morePlease don't get fooled by those ratings, I suggest you not to visit, trust me this is the worst homestay I've ever stayed , this was the 3rd ghandruk visit, expectation mets the reality, staff don't treat people as human too rude behaviors, worst dinner and breakfast ever, disappointed with the nepali khana for the first time in such place and breakfast way minimum according to the charge, no toiletries and water at night till 9 am, unexpected. Irresponsible, unfriendly, bad service, water issues, food below average, worst management , highly overrated and overpriced. They need...
Read moreRecently visited Ghandruk 🏔️and honestly, it felt like stepping into a postcard. The natural beauty of this village is beyond words – surrounded by snow-capped peaks, especially the majestic Machhapuchhre and Annapurna ranges.
Early mornings are magical – clouds slowly drifting across the green hills, birds chirping, and the first rays of the sun touching the mountains. It’s the kind of view you never forget.
The people here are incredibly warm and welcoming. I loved exploring the traditional Gurung homes, narrow stone paths, and peaceful trails. It felt like time slows down here.
If you love nature, peace, fresh air, and a break from the noise of cities, Ghandruk is a must-visit. It’s also a great starting point for short treks and nature walks.📍 Lot's of...
