Hotel Grand Shamble, Mustang – A Memorable Highland Retreat
Nestled in the serene landscapes of Mustang, Hotel Grand Shamble offers a perfect blend of traditional charm and modern comfort. From the moment we arrived, the staff greeted us with warm hospitality, making us feel at home in the heart of the Himalayas. The rooms were clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed with local decor that adds a cultural touch to the stay. Waking up to breathtaking views of the mountains was a highlight of our experience.
The hotel’s restaurant served a delightful variety of local and continental dishes. The yak cheese momo and Thakali set were particularly delicious and highly recommended. The common areas, including the rooftop terrace, provided excellent spots to relax and soak in the beauty of the surrounding valleys.
What truly sets Grand Shamble apart is its dedication to guest comfort and cultural experience. The staff were always ready to assist with local tips, travel arrangements, and even guided excursions to nearby monasteries and trekking trails.
Overall, Hotel Grand Shamble is more than just a place to sleep—it’s an immersive Mustang experience. Ideal for both adventure seekers and those looking to unwind in peace, it’s a hidden gem...
Read moreSurprisingly a very good hotel! I booked it without giving much thought as I was finishing the Annapurna Circuit trek in the month of May 2022. The build and the construction of the hotel is very good, good bar and food. My room was very comfortable with clean linen an all.
Due to elections in Nepal all the flights were cancelled from Jomsom after two days and there were no public transports from Muktinath to Jomsom the next day and I had to reach Jomsom the next day for my flight to Pokhara.
The staff were so helpful that upon hearing my problem, they requested another visitor party who were travelling to Jomsom the next day via private transport to accommodate me and they did! Without this gesture from the hotel staff and travelling party, I would have got stranded in Muktinath or Jomsom for at least four more days, not to mention the waste of money and hassle!!!
Thanks to all the staff members of Grand Shambala and please get in touch if you are one of the members of the travelling...
