Read moreThis hotel in the middle of chaotic Birgunj exceeded my expectations. Its a retro style hotel having more of a Indian style decoration in the lobby. The building is old, but they have renovated the inside, which is why i was suprised. As you enter this hotel which is on the road, the staff are very friendly. The ground floor has 2 restaurants, both having very interesting decorations. The restaurant has a powerful AC which is a must to beat the heat of Birgunj and is very clean. The talbes are properly set and the waiters are well dressed and very polite. To my suprise they also serve food for you. We had the chicken thali set and the food was really tasty. Although as you walk up the stairs you are reminded that the building is a bit old, the hotel rooms have been upgraded and modified with modern furniture. The rooms are small and a bit congested to be honest, especially the ones with 2 beds, yet it is very comfortable and clean. They have properly working Air conditioners. The bathroom is clean and well equipped. The TV works just fine and is located right opposite to the bed. The room is quiet and you cannot hear anything from the outside corridor. I enjoyed my stay here. It was more than what i expected, especially in a place like Birgunj. I'm sure for a night or 2, this hotel is all that you...
