Little Buddha Hotel — Hotel in Lumbini Sanskritik

The Hotel Little Buddha is located exactly opposite the Buddha Birthplace Temple complex. The rooms are decent & clean. But what I want to speak about is their restaurant. They serves seriously good food. The restaurant is clean, the attendants are soft spoken and attentive. Here's where we had the most delicious Veg Momos in our entire trip. Our food requirements are very specific ie. sattvic food (Vegetarian food w/o garlic & onion). So the flavours are very clean and crisp. The Momos were excellent & they made a special tomato, red chilly & toasted sesame seed chutney(dip) for us. This chutney was sooooooo delicious that after our Lunch we actually went to ask them the recipe to which they sweetly obliged. This hotel stands just at the opposite to the main entrance gate no.5 that leads to the main shrine of Lumbini World Heritage Site complex. When public transportation drops their passengers in the station and walks close to the gate no five to the left of the road one can find this beautiful classy looking hotel and at the right side of the road stands the gate no.5 to Lumbini Garden where Shakyamuni Gautam Buddha was born. One can have beautiful view of the Lumbini from the top. Everyday pilgrims can easily go and do meditation in Lumbini from here. Hello Everyone, We had the worst experience in our whole Nepal trip.. I am travelling from India and believe me the worst staff, the quality of food is worst and they over charge you for everything than any other restaurant or hotels , i read the review thought maybe few bad experiences of ppl might be not right after looking at the hotel from outside but when you talk to there staff and service ppl in restaurants I would say do anything but don’t eat here if you enter there kitchen it’s the most unhygienic place than thelaaaa vala ka panii puri…..
