Hotel The Holy Birth — Hotel in Lumbini Sanskritik

Nice hotel just outside of Maya Devi temple gate number 5. The hotel is inside the small alleyway, though it is on the dirt road it is pretty easy to walk on (atleast on the cold winter day but I’m pretty sure it will be messy during the rain). At night it look pretty scary though because the path is pretty dark.

Inside the premises, it was nice. Clean, friendly staff, good bed, very good internet connection, quiet, the ac heater work very well, universal power socket, and well priced.

The cons is there is no hot shower. Or maybe there is, I don’t know. But that night I didn’t take a bath because the water was freezing. The room is kinda small, with some broken furniture. There are restaurants and small supermarkets nearby which close around 8-9pm.

Note: It will take you from hotel to the gate No.5 in less than 5 mins by walking. But from the gate to the temple it will take you around 10-15...

You will find better hotels near by with INR 800 TO INR I000 Online, then this one, i paid 1400 and it wasnt worth it. We had to ask them 4 to 5 times, for Hot Water, finally they turned it on after 1 hr. Hotel was empty but they were trying to upgrade my room and charge me more, they even made me cancel my previous Online OYO reservation and they did amoyher reservation for me from their phone and i did. They they ask me to pay more....?? Well i didnt so it didn't work out so they tried to rent me their car for site seeing with higher rate But i refused. And I hired local from out side and was cheaper then their rate, The Best & cheapest way to explore the place...

I stayed here for one night on my visit to Lumbini temple. The hotel itself is in 2-3 minutes walk to gate number 5, which makes it easy to get to maya Devi temple. I love the hospitality as soon as I got through the main entrance, friendly and helpful staff. Room was nice and clean, comfortable bed with AC and tv but was mattress was slightly softer to my preference. Saying that, it’s totally fine as it’s hard to find medium-firm mattresses at hotel. Food served was fresh and tasty and it’s all you can eat 😉. If you ask me, I would definitely recommend it for you. Nice, clean, comfortable...
