I recently had the pleasure of staying at Green Hill Apartment in Kathmandu for 35 days, and I can wholeheartedly say that it was an unforgettable experience. The apartment itself was a perfect blend of comfort and convenience. Fully furnished, the rooms were spacious and inviting, with modern decor that made me feel right at home. The living room was a cozy haven where I spent many evenings unwinding, and the kitchen was equipped with every amenity I could possibly need. From the latest appliances to ample cookware, preparing meals was an absolute delight.

But what truly sets Green Hill Apartment apart is its stunning location. Nestled amidst a verdant forest, the mornings here were magical, greeted by the melodious chirping of birds. For anyone who enjoys starting their day with a refreshing walk, this place is unparalleled. Just a short distance away lies the entrance to Shivapuri National Park. The park offers a serene environment for a morning walk, enveloped in nature's beauty.

Walking through the jungle paths, with the crisp morning air and the symphony of nature all around, was an experience I looked forward to every day. The high security provided by the army within the park ensures safety from wild animals, allowing you to enjoy your walk with peace of mind. And if luck is on your side, you might even spot a few deer, adding a touch of enchantment to your morning routine.

We stayed here for five months. The experience was just like being at home -- quiet, friendly, the kitchen very well furnished, the people wonderful and friendly. I cannot say enough good things about this apartment -- the building is secure and safe -- the neighborhood friendly and kind. We are looking forward to returning to this location on our next visit to wonderful Nepal --- oh and there is a lovely friendly black setter dog -- her name is scooby and if you like animals be sure to make friends with her. She is very well trained and very sweet. Her presence made our stay feel even more like home and we are so glad we got to know her. The apartment has a large tv with many on line programming options and the bed in the Master bedroom was one of the most comfortable I have slept on. Weekly cleaning and linen changes are also provided.

Kudos for fine service, and a family feel -- - we absolutely recommend this place and our only hesitation is wishing we could have it it all for ourselves. Taxi service here is readily available as well and Kathmandu valley is yours to enjoy from the homey atmosphere of this lovely apartment. - Its also on the ground floor - so no stairs to climb.

I can't imagine a better place to stay in Kathmandu! Green Hill Apartment is a friendly, clean and comfortable apartment in a clean and quite suburb, just a taxi-ride of 500-800 NPR away from the city-center. The hosting family is quite nice and invited us for home-made Dal Bhat or some beers when we met in a bar on occasion. One of the sons even guided us up on the next hill "Jamacho" and in return we invited him for the taxi-ride and dinner downtown. Their dog is very friendly and playful, always jumping around, waiting for some action :) Within just 300-1000 m from the apartment, you can find several shops, bars, restaurants and cafés. Whenever you'd want to visit the smoggy city-center, just follow the road in eastern direction until you see an empty taxi and calculate about 20-30 min for the ride - or longer, depending on traffic-jams downtown, of course :D The kitchen is well equipped with cutlery/plates, refrigerator, microwave, water fountain. The sleeping rooms are nice and one of them has its private bathroom. There is a lobby with a big TV as well and the WLAN/wifi works pretty well. The main bathroom has toilet and shower and is quite clean, warm water works pretty well. I absolutely can't complain and would definitely come back and recommend this hidden gem. Patchi...
