Our stay at Bamboo Bali was exceptional. Prior to arrival, we had scoured Google and Yelp reviews for wonderful places to stay, and based on those, chose to stay at Bamboo Bali for our honeymoon. It was worth it. The staff were extremely helpful and the owners were very personable and quite nice. Things we loved: --The staff was amazing. Debbie sent us comprehensive information on how to get to the location from the airport beforehand so we wouldn’t have any issues once there. Additionally, she went through a map of the island and helped us to find excellent dive locations as well as noteworthy places to eat, shop, and relax. --The owners were very hospitable and wonderful people. They truly cared about how we felt about our accommodations, and if they could do anything to make our stay more pleasant. If you have the chance to eat dinner at Chef’s (the on-site restaurant) with them, take it! --The accommodations were stellar. We stayed in the “Heaven Can Wait” suite, and never ran into any issues over the course of our two week stay. The A/C worked, and the room was neat and tidy. Everything worked as expected, the grill, hot tub, and kitchenette had no issues. We loved being able to lounge outside in the various areas around the villa (chaise lounges, hammock, outdoor bed, etc.). The outdoor shower was also perfect! --They had a nice cubby for all diving equipment that we used. Additionally, they had fresh water baths for all diving equipment. In the shaded cubbies, there were a number of PVC hangers for BCDs, wetsuits, and regulators. Along the sides were convenient places to store fins. It was well equipped for a diving vacation. --The on-site restaurant, Chefs, is beyond reproach. We had breakfast provided to the suite, and a fantastic dinner there. If good cuisine is part of a vacation for you, be sure to visit! Things to be aware of: --Their location is slightly outside of the main Kralendijk area, but not onerously so (~5 minute drive into town). We could walk into town along the paved walking path, but it would take about 20-30 minutes depending on walking pace. That being said, we rather liked being away from the main drag and there were several places to eat nearby. --Be sure not to leave any valuables in your car/truck. There weren’t very many lights on the outside of the location around parking, so it made easy targets for people looking to break in. As long as you leave your doors unlocked and nothing of value inside, it’s fine. Note that this is NOT an issue with Bamboo Bali specifically (we were warned about it at the car rental agency), but just part of the...

Just got back from 2 weeks at Bamboo and i must say it was an amazing experience! it was our first time on Bonaire and from our first call to the sales team, they made planning the trip very easy and accessible for us and had all the right answers to questions that helped us plan an amazing adventure to this tiny gem of an island.|the room was spacious well-appointed and spotless, with a front yard that had a hammock, lounge chairs a BBQ and our outdoor dining area under the covered porch. The back yard had a private plunge pool for cooling off after a day of exploring, more loungers and the immense Balinese style bathroom with a double headed outdoor rain shower. In all the room was a perfect, intimate spot for couples looking for a tropical hide-away. there was no bar or restaurant service, but the room had a well sticked kitchen area and the is access to fresh groceries steps away or large modern grocery stores a short drive into town, you can stock up basics in the full-sized fridge, for us it was a perfect combination between sampling the vast array of high quality restaurants on the island and always having a cool drink or a snack at your fingertips at home|Speaking of restaurants! Bamboo is the home of Chefs Restaurant, easily the best restaurant on Bonaire and possibly in the Carribean! the concept is unique (food is cooked, served and described by the chefs in a center stage open air kitchen) the quality of the locally purchased foods is outstanding and is presented and served in a multi-course narrated fashion with superb wine pairings by the 3 chefs who are your guides on this amazing culinary adventure. Chefs is a must-see dining experience, but reserve ahead, they are generally booked a few months in advance.|the spa services are top notch and offer all types of massage and wellness treatments. very professional and skilled in the art of chilling you out, all the stress just goes away!|All other tours on the island are available from the front office the staff there is trained in finding you everything, including car rental (a must) scuba, snorkeling, wind surfing, kayaking the mangroves, all things related to adventures on Bonaire.|In all Bamboo is a...

Review of Bamboo Boutique Resort, Bonaire

From the moment my wife and I stepped through the main gate of Bamboo Boutique Resort, we were transported from the bustling streets of Bonaire to a serene tropical oasis that whispered echoes of our cherished travels to Thailand and Indonesia. Celebrating our 25th anniversary, we found this hidden gem to be the perfect sequel in our two-week journey across the ABC Islands.

The resort’s unique charm lies in its ability to offer privacy and tranquility amidst its cozy accommodations, even when at full capacity. The lush greenery and artful decor create an intimate atmosphere that makes each guest feel like they have the entire place to themselves—a rare luxury.

Nestled conveniently close to the heart of the city, the resort offers easy access to local attractions, including the renowned Cliffs dive site. While we missed the opportunity to dine at the sought-after Chefs restaurant, fully booked months in advance, the resort still managed to delight us with a sumptuous breakfast in bed—a thoughtful touch that added to our celebration.

The staff at Bamboo Boutique Resort deserves a special mention for their exceptional service. Attentive yet unobtrusive, they ensured our stay was nothing short of splendid.

As we bid farewell to this enchanting retreat, we knew without a doubt that Bamboo Boutique Resort would be our go-to sanctuary in future visits to Bonaire. It’s not just a resort; it’s a memorable experience that stays with you long after you’ve left its gates. Highly recommended for those seeking a slice of paradise with a personal touch.

Be sure to bring reef friendly bug spray and sun screen. Also try Lucianos Ice Cream bar. We went every single day. My only regret is not being able to take the shop home :)

Regards Ron & Shana...

So much detail, personal care and relaxing flair - I love holidays at Bamboo Bali. We have been living in two different cottages each with its very special style: "Between the trees" apparently is a cozy yet luxurious tree house with a lot of privacy, just above the pool area (jakuzzi and pool) where you actually feel like in Bali because of all the palm trees and bananas around and the Buddha decoration; "Just the two of us" has a really spacious bathroom with a three mode shower, a perfectly equipped kitchen and six! different places (a reading corner inside, a sofa outside, a hammock - just to name some) to sit as a couple and enjoy your time. A gas grill and areas to dry your diving equipment are just around the corner. As always, the people are the best: From the moment of our first request on, we have been attended in the most caring way by Debbie and Brigitte - it is actually worth booking directly! Thanks to the Bamboo Bali team we got our rental car directly at the airport without any waiting time, a diving voucher, breakfast on the first morning, a wonderful massage, restaurant and taxi bookings, access to two different beach clubs, a Christmas Happy Hour with champagne and nice food, the obligatory ollieballen and a bottle of champagne for New Year's Eve, fresh coconuts ready to drink, and lots of useful hints to make the best out of our stay. Masha danki!

This place was magical. This was our first time to Bonaire and we are avid divers. The pictures and videos don't do the place justice, this place was amazing. Clean, quiet, and romantic. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They were very easy to get ahold of on Whatsapp and even answered on Sundays!! The maids come at least 3 times a week, something we’ve never seen and they were great. Get the plunge pool, you will not be disappointed. We also did the air tank package and they had plenty of tanks with a tank gauge and analyzer on site. We actually read some of the negative reviews at night while in Bonaire and we laughed about them. This was a great boutique resort and will make this our annual getaway. A/C worked great and really cooled the place down in a heartbeat. Awesome wash down stations and gear lockers. We ate breakfast outside every morning with the humming birds. Did not get a chance to eat at CHEFS but it looked amazing. We can’t wait to go back, we’re trying to work in a New Years Eve trip this year but we shall see. THANK YOU ALL FOR EVERYTHING!!! See you soon! Jimmy and Jennifer from Florida.

If you're looking for serenity on Bonaire, Bamboo Bonaire hits every note. This boutique property is pure bliss—quiet, lush, and full of thoughtful details. The vibe is super peaceful, like the whole place is giving you a gentle “shhh.” Our room had its own private plunge pool and outdoor shower, which was just... chef’s kiss. Waking up and stepping straight outside to rinse off under the sun or stars? 10/10 would recommend. And don’t even get me started on the spa—absolutely lovely. If you’re into massages with some serious self-care, it's a must while you're here. This spot feels like a little hidden oasis—grown-up, grounded, and gorgeous. Perfect for couples or solo travelers who just want to slow it all down.
