Easily the best and most authentic Pizza on Bonaire with an extensive menu. My wife is a baker and chatting with the Italian owner, who has a wonderful accent, it was clear that he really knows his flours and how to make perfect pizza crust. The pizzas had a perfect light crust and the toppings were fresh and tasty. There is also a creative pasta menu and salads. The dessert menu was amazing and better than any of the gourmet restaurants on Bonaire. To find this new restaurant just head north from downtown passing the boats at the Marina then at the roundabout continue about a block looking for a cluster of shops on the left just before the MCB bank. I have to give this place credit, the food, service and atmosphere were all 10/10. We’re from a place with a very competitive food scene and Pizza Mare would stand up to anything we have back home. We ordered two pizzas, salad and panna cotta, all of which were excellent!! Delicious, fresh, thin crust Neapolitan style pizzas. It’s a small business on the island of Bonaire with few other options when it comes to truly authentic Italian fare, so yes they are busy. I found Pizza Mare Bonaire after Googling "Best restaurant near me" (from Buddy Dive Resort). All of the positive reviews were exactly correct. Our meals were delicious, the atmosphere inviting, and our host (David) was charming and professional. Great menu and bar variety. I had the Italian Pumpkin Soup and Eggplant Parmesan Appetizer.
