We had a camp site that had a bad smell coming from somewhere near by on our site. Thought it was coming from the drain connected to the toilets. Went and asked if it could be inspected. It was and we were told it was something in the bush next to our camp site on the property like a dead bird and management won't be looking into it because they would have to call a contractor and may take a few days to get there and cost management money for a contractor to come. It was a week day, not the weekend. I took the time to have a look myself which I should've not needed to do and in less than 5 minutes found a gutted fish carcass that had been left there from the people staying there before us. I then went to the office to tell them and no one was there. Doors locked and curtains closed all day and the next day as well. I had to remove the fish myself from the bush on the property and put in the rubbish. The smell was immediately gone. I think very unprofessional and poor customer service...
Read moredrove into entrance and once there were committed to going in as there was nowhere to turn around. I had to drive into the camping ground and turn my car and caravan around and then head back out. as we were heading back out the long driveway we were accosted by a very irate "owner" who DEMANDED as to what we were doing " ON HER PRIVATE PROPERTY" I tried to explained to her that her entrance did not allow for anyone to turn around so we had had to go into her "private property" to turn around before we could get out of her "private property". Most other caravan parks we have stayed at have a reception area where caravans etc can park without blocking the entrance. THIS PARK HAS VERY RESTRICTED ENTRANCE. Be warned the OWNER is very protective of her " private property". We had intended to stay 4 or 5 nights but after being accosted we decided to move on and use an "alternative" camp grounds where we were greeted with welcoming arms...

I emailed beforehand to reserve a place and received a lovely welcome when we arrived from the guy in the office. He showed us to one of the pitches which all have a private hut with shower, toilet and basin so no need to share which was great and very unique! We used the laundry facilities which were $2 per load so really cheap and they even gave us some washing powder as we didn't have any. Lovely beach across the road too - about 2 minutes walk. We couldn't have asked for a better place to...
