Paraparaumu Beach — Attraction in North Island

Initially we went here to watch sunset but because it was cloudy soooo no sunset is visible :((( but i had a great time here with my boyfriend because we had a picnic together with our new stove!!

the time we were there it was also windy, hence quite cold. so we didnt went down to the beach at all. we just sat by the picnic table near the park and near the entrance to the beach.

can see Kapiti Island from here, and beside the parking area, there's a ferry terminal if you want to go to the island.

probably im gonna come here again during clear sky and explore what's there at...

Visited before COVID in 2019 during a weekday afternoon and the place was very packed yet void of any rubbish/litter. The beach has it's own on-property parking and on-street parking which were usually taken up by customers at stores across the street.
